  1. Luckily my SO really helped out this time. He went to the citizen service in the consulate yesterday and a nice visa officer let him pick up my visa package in the afternoon. So didnt we not only pay that 20 but also got the visa package one day in advance. Happy end.. Thanks again guys,i'll catch you up soon!
  2. hey guys., just wanted to say hi and let you know that i was approved my k1 visa on last Friday..didnt have a chance to get online until my SO had his laptop connected.. Errr..some minor problem happening to here right now..i'm kind of stuck ,hehe..i was being too excited and i didnt know i had to fill out some damn form for the pick-up service from the post office before my visa is really to be picked up.So I'm going to have my SO get back to the consulate and see if he could possibly fix that. Not in a very good mood, but at least i got that damn visa approved.I'm going to post more details about the interview when i get back to Shanghai. And God i had wait for like half a year to finally almost be able to get the visa, but now i just am feelling all shitty and guilty. That's the most stupid mistake i've ever made..oh yeah..i should have read more carefully about what's on my RED slip.,,but too late..i never read any instruction. So that's the whole story that i'm kind of got into right now,and that's just so lame. But what i really wanted to say here is to say thank you all guys here for being so supportive and wise-oriented for me! Those 6 months in the past was suffering but it worths suffering, and my suffer is still not quite end yet..OH man i got stuck!!
  3. Yep..just came back from 001. and i saw a lady who is either K3 or CR1 was talking about getting an accommodation in GUZ for the interview and her interview will be in April. She didnt mention any specific date though.
  4. And I think the best posture for the visa officers is to take a positive and respectiful and less-ruder approach to all of the applicants going all the way from all over the mainland China to be conducted interivews at the consulate all over the world regardless of the color of their skin...(Chinese might be notorious on making false marriages to enter the US or some other developed countires, but not all the Chinese applicants are doing that. )
  5. Excellent Ken! This is one of the best posts i have ever read in here! Thank you so much for your encouragement!
  6. Congratz! Jie and Ken! U've made a perfect model for me.I hope my interview will turn out real good too in 3 weeks!!! Jie's impression to me is really a brave and smart girl.I adore her and at the sametime I hope your girl who's from the same city as me will bring me the best luck on getting the red slip. Again,am really really really happy for you guys!!! and Have a safe flight back home together next weekend!!! YOUPI!!
  7. Your timeline looks good, and it's as fast and clear as mine:D Your SO will get her interview date very soon! All the best to you!
  8. I called DOS once asking about that too,the lady told me that at they were doing the pre-interview clearance (which i guess thats what some basic namecheck takes places). This Pre-P4 process occurs to every single applicant,so dont worry about anything, just wait for like 1 month or so till you get your interview date.( I called DOS again 3 weeks after being told that my case was undergoing pre-interview clearance..and i got a interview date)!
  9. Pictures of your daily lives together and pictures taken with your SO's family memembers also work!
  10. that's encouraging news!! Getting P3 i reckon is the most crucial part in the whole visa journey. So good stuff!!
  11. wow..2/7!!! Good for you!! Very impressive, hehe! mine is scheduled on 2/24. Wish your good luck from 2/7 will bring another good luck to 2/24!!!
  12. pls add me into the project. 11-24-05 P3 02-24-06 interview. Thanks, susieq
  13. i have no idea why i'm moving so fast...i went through several posts on 001 and it came to me that there are three things that might be holding up one's case against moving forward.. 1.Too many petitions need processing in one's USCIS centre. 2.DHL holding-up 3.Namechecks and ever since i knew CFL, i learnt to keep calling NVC and DOS from time to time as to make sure that my case is not being 'abused' with any of the aboved troubles.. Good luck with your case and hope you can hear from your next progress very soon!
