  1. Costco is the BOMB!!! My wife's parents also like "Nuts" any kind especially Cashews. Everytime I go to China, I am always asked to bring more SWISS CHOCOLATE, they all love it, the adults even more than the kids. I think the keep it for themselves and don't show the children!!!! Hahaha
  2. Another good thing to take is SWISS Chocolate, I've had lots of luck with that I also have taken Vitamins for both of her parents (one-a-day) brand They were thrilled, to care of health is "Most Important"

  4. I looked at several of the older post on the topic of "getting money to china" But they all had replies of money transfers, ATM's Ect..... I AM LOOKING FOR REPLIES FOR TAKING CASH!!!!
  5. I was wondering if anyone knows how much cash you can take into China. I am going to open a bank account when I am there, I don't want to do the wire transfer thing. So I need to carry the cash with me!! Your input will be greatly appreciated

  7. I didn't do much research before I applied for the "K-3" I used an immigration service to file my papers at first. I was told that the "K-3" was the fastest way to get her here. Wow, if I would have only known? I would have went the "K-1" route. I can't make heads or tails of any of this process!!! The only thing to do is keep a good attitude and do lots of praying!

  9. How are you finding out this info, when someone touches your case. Is there a special site that tells you? I have recieved both NOA1's I-130 & I-129f Now I have gone online to uscis.gov and submitted the proper info to see the status of my case, but nothing ever changes. So once again!!! where can I look at more specific "Touches" Thanks, Scott

  11. My wife is a Lawyer in China, and is thinking of studying law here, Does anyone know what the requirements would be in the state of California? Does The bar recognize her college degree? Can she just go straight to Law school? I have looked on the web many times, but I am always failed! Your help would be greatly appreciated on this topic!

  13. Once I have a job, Do I have to stay for a certain length of time??? Or can we just come back to the states when we are successful in getting the visa? Also, what is the process of getting a work permit, I was going to do some searching for a job on my next trip... Then make a decision
  14. I filed for the K-3 the beginning of 4/05 I am learning that this is the longest way to be with my new wife. I was thinking of going to GZ to file direct, What is the process and the rules for filing there. I understand that I will need to cancel the petition already filed. If you experts can give me the the Do's and Don'ts That would be helpful and hopfully reunite us sooner!
  15. This question may have been asked in the past, but I'm a newby.... And don't know! I have submitted petition " I-129F " for my Wife who is in China. I have only received the 1st NOA I-797 .... Can she apply for a travel visa to come to the US for a visit???? Your answers will be greatly appreciated
