3. It looks like the way to Behai is to stay in Guz overnight. my question is, since I will probably need to stay overnight in an hotel. anyone familiar with hotels near the airport? My SO tells me there are 2 planes from Guz to Beihai for about $200 round trip. Has anyone experienced this yet? So far the best I've seen is $1200 to Guz from Atlanta with all the Taxes and fees. and that was from http://www.bt-store.com, courtesy of PTcruiser. I'm waiting for fly-china to get back with me, I saw $1380 to Beihai, but I don't think the airport fees were added yet. We'll see.
4. Dude, this shows the best prices I've seen to date. Atlanta to Guanzhou is $940 in june-July. I will search this more.. Thanks, Charles 196248 Well, not so sure yet... can't seem to find a flight.. will try other days

6. Some companies require a SS# be obtained before enrolling anybody in their benefit programs. This causes a delay in the case of K1/K2. You'll want to check on that with your HR people at some point unless you already know. For instance, if your current wife was added to your benefits without a SS# you already have your answer. The wife and dependent children will be treated the same. 196236 She had one, but the company told me She didn't have to have one to get the coverage
7. Most american insurance companies that have contracts with american corporations, require that a husband and wife be married to claim dependent children. If there is a legal marriage between them, and the child or children are dependents, and in legal custody, then they can be claimed. 196109 Thanks, I don't want to ask my job anything right now, since I'm still officially married.
8. I know most companies allow the wife to be added to the company health coverage as the spouse. Does the same apply for her children?
9. I'm not doubting her and my feelings about her. I guess, I'm a little "gun shy" from my last situation. But the reality is that a person doesn't have to come from around the world to "burn" you. they could be on your job or next door. When I feel I indecisive, I talk to her on the phone or see her on the cam, then everything is right. She makes me very happy and I look forward to a future with her and her son in it.
10. I think what you are experiencing with these small brokers is the difference between online realtime access to airline databases and an offline access. When you go to Orbitz they poll a live database as you make your search. It's actually possible that in the few minutes it takes to make your selection, that the fare becomes no longer available. These small brokers have direct access from their offices like a regular travel agent does but their websites are not online realtime resources for the consumer. Sometimes they are searching a database of tickets that have already been purchased in advance. When you make your request, they must manually determine what is available at that moment. The effect can be similar to "bait and switch" but it isn't necessarily the intent. If you end up with a better fare, it's worth the trouble, IMO. 195798 I will keep looking for the best fare I can get
11. I was trying to help you, but all of my information was deleted. And I did email you to offer some more information by pm, never heard from you. Rick 195789 yes I know, but you could pm me with the information. I didn't see the need to give out my email address
12. I guess this is a case of bait and switch,, they show you one price, then offer another price higher. Flychina was suggested by one of our prestigous established members offline and it seems they are offering $300 less, $1385. I will have to wait and see if they actually give the tickets at that price. We will see.
13. She is from Baihai...3 hour bus ride from Nanning. So Nanning would be the city.
14. Charles try http://goldentourtravel.com/ They're located in Atlanta, and I booked the family's updoming trip through them and saved about $200 per ticket versus the competition. You're right about fare increases for the summer. Jingwen's ticket was $1,140 from Atlanta to Zhanjiang (leaving mid March). Mine was $1,290, leaving in April. 195430 Frank, I did... it is about the same. I may need to jump on the fare if I will go.
15. i'm coming from Atlanta. The summer months are more expensive is my understanding.
16. Dude, Keep shopping around. $1300 is too high. Are you going Business class?? Try www.mobissimo.com 195389 coach and this site was $1700 to nanning.
17. I was trying to get a ticket for this summer to visit my friend. The $1300 is not there....only $1600, now, she said she would still look. Very nice lady. But I told her I met my lady on Internet and we started a long conversation... I even told her what happened to me. I must say she brought doubt to me again. I do feel good about my lady, but to say I feel totally confident would not be the truth. I was burned badly and deep inside, I really scared to be burned again. I don't think time will erase this fear, only success would. That is why I feel I'm "just jumping back on the horse". I did tell her (hong), she has sold tickets to men here who are quite successful in thier marriages.... to say life is not easy, in an extreme understatement.
18. Good point Joanne!! It is just as hard for your SO... Paula I remember what you are dealing with. I hope your time will pass better in the future.
19. she's the one! how long did it take for her to find you a cheap flight... she had them for $1500... I wanted $1300 and NWA, i didn't ask for NWA, just my intial choice... I have about 40000 miles with them... how long before you get a free flight with them, anyone know??, 60000 domestic, yes?
20. It did... I called her. She was helpful and friendly. Hopefully she can find a lower price. I will be traveling on a budget this time.
21. It's a crapshoot. Like most, I viewed prices for weeks before buying a ticket in January, 2006. After watching, I found that Continental had the best price from Orlando, to Hong Kong. Knowing that prices change at the drop of a hat, I clicked and bought it. The next day, another member posted a link to Pacasia. I thought, why not contact them and see. I first emailed, and then called. They sent me a confirmation on the round-trip ticket price from Orlando to Hong Kong, of $710.00. That was the total price after taxes and fees for the same Continental flight. I ended up paying $898.00 direct to Continental because 24-hours had elapsed after buying my ticket. Bottom line, check early, check often. I called Pacasia and they are legit. They often buy dozens and hundreds of tickets in blocks at reduced rates.... 195030 Not sure what this reply means from Paciasia. I guess the july reservation for 1350 is out. "The lowest fare seats for your travel dates are sold out, and we booked waiting list for you now, after confirmed, we will let you know, thanks."
22. Is there a cheaper one out there. I know if you go now, they are very cheap... but I want to go in the summer. I priced Paciasia from atlanta to nanning for $1350. I requested a reservation, but no one has contacted me yet. It's not a real time reservation. Would have been nice to get one for $1000 or less.
23. This means, she must live in Hong Kong, yes?!
24. This is worth looking into. I get my DSL service with my phone. My phone service is aprox $50 per month with no long distance. and $50 per month for DSL. I use my cell for the long distance which I don't use much anyway. I beleive you can get DSL without having cable if you have a phone number, but there will be maybe a one day downtime.
