    Just my 2 cents. I am on my 3rd Asian marriage. The first was from VietNam and she passed on in '97. 2nd was Thai whom I married, probably as a "rebound" in '98 and she left me for someone her own age( she was 12 years younger than me) after 4 years. And now Ya. I was a lot more carefull than with the Thai girl. I didn't want that again, but I never gave up hope. Ya has many of the same interests as I do including her profession. I didn't have that with the last one and I should have seen the "writing on the wall" but I didn't. I guess what I am trying to say is, chalk it up to experience, gather yourself and continue. Most of all, DON"T GIVE UP!

    I submitted my I130 and it was received on April 22. My notice date is May 4. I know it was sent to the California service center but my number doesn't show up on the web site. My lawyer talked to the local office and they told him that it was being processed. That was 2 weeks ago. Any suggestions?

    Yes, I found out the hard way about HK. Two days before I was to leave, we were going to take the train into HK. Even though the date on her visa was good they decided that it wasn't. We were "escorted" out of the train station to a car for the ride back to her home. Lars
