    Norm Gerstner Norm Gerstner The homeless boy was scooped by the authorities the day before we were to pick him up. He was sent to a government run orphanage on Samar Island. At least he will get schooling, a bed, food and clothing. Eden and I are still close friends and the Philippines are only a 100 dollar flight away. I will be back.     The combined ages of the three girls was about equal to his age. He drank beer while they cavorted. Not a good look. I'm looking for a major "crash and burn" if one of the girls was the one slated to manage his orphanage for glue sniffing boys in the Philipines (a four bedroom house he's talked about leasing).

    I am back in Nanning but only for a very short time. I have decided that a four week vacation was simply not long enough. This video will explain why I am leaving, where I am going and the future of the Gweilo 60 Channel.

    On Facebook - Ok my world changes on a dime. I rented a 4 bedroom house on Leyte Island in the Philippines today. I used to run a childrens charity in China so this is nothing new to me. There is a young homeless boy that has no family that the girls and I are going to take off the street. He has not been to school and if nobody steps in and steps up he will simply not have a future. The plan is to give him a home and a family. Then get him into school and make sure he has a chance in life. Eden my partner is on board with this as she comes from a very poor background also. Wish us luck because I know this is going to be a hard road and we may crash and burn but if we don’t try then a young man’s future is not going to be good. Another great adventure but this time it’s not about fun it’s about helping others without any thought of return. Eden jumped at the idea without thought and that is why we are together.
