  1. Serious times indeed. The escalations are going to make it very hard for families. My wife has heard rumors that the US may put a stop to WeChat. Best to update Skype and have everyone's telephone numbers. My wife was in China last September through December as her mother slowly passed away. She returned to the US just a few days before the announcement that there was a little bug going around in Wuhan. How lucky she was. Now people cannot be with family if there is illness or death. Best wishes for everyone with family and friends in China.
  2. From what I have been reading the virus mostly hits older people with underlying conditions. It is said that individuals may be able to pass on the virus without having any signs. The mayor of Wuhan said 5 million people had already left the city before the travel ban....that seems like a very high number, nearly half the population. First patient is said to have been on December 1st. I hope everyone stays safe, wherever you are.
  3. I just learned the sister-in-law questioned China Post / Customs on this charge. It was explained that it is a random check such as luggage at the airport. This was one of the unlucky packages that happened to get caught. Funny this happened shortly after the Trump - China Tariffs took place.
