End of P4 month charts

Well I am off to Guangzhou, so you will have to make do with the latest list. I am thinking that all the slots for May are probably filled since they are taking 4 days off. This is also probably why we see a longer wait time with early P4's. I have a new correlation, if people for the last year will send me their dates from their P3 and P4 letters, as I think when you P3 is sent determines what is next, if you send it back in time. But as usual, need more data. I ran out of time to make the chart for this, so I will do it when I get back in a couple weeks.

 

I have included below the latest two charts for what is happening so far. It is probably all new starting from this week, but we shall see.

Nooneufo, Thanks for breakingdown the data. Confirms what I already expected. I NEED TO WAIT EVEN LONGER...good luck and have a good time in China. Wish I could go to, but I need to stay here to hold the fort down.

 

PS. Keep that whole "I am the great GUZ." thang to yourself while your there. People might think your a little weird. Not me ofcourse, just other people. If you can do that and keep your font size below a 12, I think you'll be OK.

By the way, my latest theory says take the date off the letter of your P3 and add 110 days, that is your probably P4 date......Need that data from people to confirm this. Maybe it will all be different by the time I come back and it will be P4's all around and no more long waits.....one can hope anyway.

Sorry, are you talking about my case? Thank you though. I haven't asked Danny to call DOS in this week. Cause I really don't want to be disappointed again. My heart has been hurt enough by being apart from Danny. Hopefully I will receive my p4 in April 18th which is your interview day.

I wonder if you had any choice on the date and time of the interview?

 

Or, does GZ assigns the date and time, and you have to be there?

 

How long (# of weeks) does it usually take from the date NVC send the case to GZ, to the date my wife will receive the first package from GZ? I think that's the P3 package, correct? Thereafter it could take 2 to 3 months to the interview date, correct?

Welcome to CFL fredgtan,

 

GUZ assigns the dates and times of the Interview. There is no choice, any color so long as it is black.

 

You don't have to be there for the Interview, although some recommend that you be there for support or to deal with problems you think might occur. I am going for that reason, or to rip all my clothes off in the consulate until I find somebody who can tell me what the problem is. I figure if it worked in someones dream of their SO doing this, maybe it will work in real life if I do it...

 

For the time thing, other K3's can tell you more. If you look back at past Interview lists, you can see the wait times for interviews. Currently average minimum of 155 days from P3 at GUZ to the Interview.
