Today marks the end of Chinese New Year
Children go out at night to solve riddles on lanterns, hence, it is also called the Spring Lantern Festival
On this special day, we wish that the coronavirus virus fades away as the Spring Festival 2020 goes to an end.

Red lanterns can be found in Chinese communities around the world during Lunar New Year. But did you know one small village is responsible for making 80% of China’s lanterns? We visited the village and met a lantern maker during his busiest time of the year.

The Crescent Lake - The tiny 2000-year-old oasis that keeps the city from being swallowed by the desert
Located about 6km south of the city of Dunhuang in north west China, the Crescent Lake is a fresh water spring in the shape of a half moon
Its presence is a miracle and important to the city as it is the only oasis throughout that huge land of sand

Xuedou Mountain is known for its serenity, seclusion and magnificence.

Takes a bit of climbing to meet the Buddha and enjoy the waterfall. But it definitely worth the effort!

Longzheng rice terraces near Guilin

Quote

They are called the "Dragon's Backbone" because the peaks of the mountain range resemble the backbone of the dragon, and the water-filled terraces shimmer like a dragon's scales.
It took generations of rice farmers from the local Yao, Dong, Zhuang, and Miao communities to build this mesmerising scene.
