I love my wife!

I just adore my wife!

 

She is the sweetest, cutest girl, and I love her to death! And man! is she one hot firecracker if you know what I mean. We have now been together almost 3 years, and I can say that when we are "together" it is as romantic, and hot as the first time. It is almost like having a hot love affair on the side except it is with my wife. Every day is fresh and new! I can't wait to grow old together.

 

One word of advice for newly weds...

 

I used to live in China and so I have some understanding of who Chinese culture is different than here in the states. However one of the best things to every happen to our relationship is to start attending a Chinese Church here in the states. Chinese churches are filled with wise, smart, older Chinese women who have been here for decades. They honestly have given my wife words of wisdom that have turned her into twice the woman she was in China. And who knows they may have saved our relationship through the first two months in the states.

 

There are just some cultural things that are different, and to have an older woman reassure my wife what was happening was normal. What a true blessing!

Yes I think the Chinese church is great! It helped my wife quite a bit to understand that others went through culture shock like she did and that she would be okay in time.

 

I think the biggest plus was that they encouraged her to cut me some slack even though I am stoopid da man! Stoopid ain't necessarily bad. Right? The people at the church were very nice to me.

As for a "Men's Only" section, we once had such a thing, called "Biker's Bar." Alas, it went the way of the wind but it was fun while it lasted. Seriously, I can't remember why it bit the dust, except maybe things got a little out of hand. As I recall, some of the posts bordered on child porn.

Here in the hills, there is no Chinese Church, but I met a very nice China lady that that started a social group for Chinese women in this area. Here husband is a professor at the college near here. She extended a welcome for my wife to attend their once a month meetings, when my wife gets here. Their meetings consist of anything from where to get vegetables, or just to chat...

We did have an interesting discussion of camel toes, but it devolved into a hate filled pissing match. I can't imagine making another attempt at it.

 

Ah, yes, I do remember that particular pissing contest Don. No wonder the plug got pulled on the Biker Bar. You know, Freud said that man's two primal drives were sex and aggression. I suspect in the case of Biker Bar, one led to the other.

And some of us needed to mature and not want a place to sling chairs across the room. Yes but a place to compare notes would be nice. I guess we do it anyway.

 

My wifey-ex is doing better also because she FINALLY made some Chinese friends, and that has turned into a pyrimid business - but it is really good for her to meet with 30 Chinese couples at a whack.

 

Church helped when we were in Little Rock, helped her a lot. For one some basic morals needed to change. When you grow up in a society that is restrictive only through govt, well the folks can be like children doing some wrong things. They know but have never really been told. So she sees the examples of those in America and she sees why I get upset. It may be too late for us, but it has helped her raise the bar in her dealing with life. Of course then she gets introduced to cable and internet companies and the phone battles. She is learning our bad side to and who an dhow to trust.
