mikem
If possible I would like to collect some data on our little P3 Pit Crew... 1) Date NVC shipped your case to GZ2) DHL tracking number3) Date of delivery to GZ (according to DHL)4) Date P3 was received (if you have received yours)5) Your CFL name, only (trying to keep things private) I would like to collect these and put them into a spreadsheet (I can do magic with Excel!!). If anyone can get similar information from people on the 001 site it would be helpful. The point of this would be to, 1) confirm for ourselves that cases are not being done in order received, and 2) to have some detailed information by which GZ or DOS can look into the matter if we're right. I'd prefer not to use the k1k3 data as it's spotty and not verifiable. Here you go RobDHL date for mine and the info at bottom is accurate. here are the DHL tracking numbers for November 7, 2003. Four packages were sent from the NVC on Friday 11/7..9262011614--Delivered 11/139262011942--Clearance delay as of 11/199262012152--Delivered 11/139262012874--Processed for clearance on 11/19Somewhere in these four packages is our documents..I was informed by NVC that ours got shipped on the 7th..Mike Link to comment

This could account for some of the variation in some P3 packets being sent out, and some being skipped. Some of the files could get stuck in customs for a little longer, and not show up with the tracking number being looked at. Of course, I can't imagine that all of the skipped P3 packets would be late because of extremely long times in customs..... The tracking numbers that you have don't suggest that any shipments stay in customs for more than a month or so. ------ CK ------ Link to comment

BillT
Also, we're K1. BTW, I've seen conflicting dates for the DHL delivery. I assumed the date of delivery was to be LOCAL China date/time, not US date/time. I took the delivery date/time directly from the DHL website. Link to comment
robhon
On some of the 001 people's data I'm "filling in." If their case left NVC about the same day and they got their P3 about the same time I'm inferring that they were in the same DHL batch together. It's actually kind of hard to collect accurate data because people perceive things happening a little differently. It's the I say "tomaaato" you say "tomaiito" syndrome. The definitions of each step in this process are not very clear. None-the-less, I think this spreadsheet is the most accurate measure we currently have for P3's. And it'll be pretty worthless in another 30 days. It would be a big job to keep it up to date. Link to comment
