usaRichard Posted November 23, 2008 Report Share Posted November 23, 2008 Near Yu Yuan Gardens, always too many people http://i350.photobucket.com/albums/q408/ltbadd/IMG_0551.jpg Well the last couple of days have not gone as planned, we didn't make it to Suzhou, the weather has not been so good (rain) and then we tried to go to Yu Yuan Gardens, but traffic was bad, we got a late start, and by the time we got there it wasn't worth paying to go inside because it was mid afternoon. The area around Yu Gardens is cool, lots of shops and the buildings are old style chinese architecture. However we walked for quite awhile and realized that we were semi-lost. It was getting late and the few bus stops we came across did not take us towards our hotel, more walking and finally found a stop that would take us back, and even better it was one of the double decker buses we had wanted to ride in. When the bus came we were the first to get on so we took the front seats on the upper level. I felt like Robin Leach in London, just needed some fish & chips.
