They interviwed a young woman waiting along the route with a Chinese flag...She said, "WE ARE SO PROUD..." I think that sums up the whole thingie quite well... Link to comment

When the torch was passed through Guangzhou, it seemed everybody was crazy, and it's pretty easy to get influenced by the crazy atmosphere. If anyone tried to destroy the torch, one million Chinese would attack him without any hesitation. People complained later the star Lin Zhi Ying looked ugly on the streets but looked nice on TV due to the photographer B) Link to comment
