Zhen's Tiger Posted May 5, 2008 Report Share Posted May 5, 2008 I found some Chinese movies that could give some insight into day to day Chinese life, they are, "The Story of Qiu", "The Blue Kite" and "Quitting" these movies are not the martial art movies about China, more the family side of Chinese life. Does anyone have other movies they can recommend? We liked 'The Postmodern Life of My Aunt (Yi ma de hou xian dai sheng huo)' a lot. It's different than many movies I've seen and makes you think about how tough some people have it. Also, it stars Chow Yun-Fat in a very non-traditional role for him, I'd definately recommend it.
