That would not be too ethical, would it? ;)<br />Sports (E-A-G-L-E-S, Eagles!!!!)<br />Riding our Waverunner!<br />I love the Shore, my family & friends, but most especially Zhen!!!
  1. HUH?? You're joking, right? My wife and I figured we could easily live well on $500-600 per month in Nanning, China. It is tempting to go and set up shop there. Maybe, that's about double what he said though... either quote is too low in my opinion... but to each his own. To Griz, I liked your idea of cigars & hell raising, I'm sure you'll figure out something. B)
  2. Maybe there not selling the new ones in China? I know the one I just got for Zhen is wifi enabled because I set it up. When she's in the house & hits the Internet it uses our wifi connection rather than the 3G network & it'll find wifi hotspots when you're in places that have it & allow you to use them as well. To me it was the best gift I've ever given her. I love her very much, but the 10+ phone calls a day I used to get while working asking me to look for this or that on the Internet or email this person, have completely stopped & she can do it all herself now no matter where she is.
  3. Thats OK........its a long series. Pedro will retire after tonite Haha, it won't be that long, 5 games at the most! GO PHILLIES!!!! Yup you are right.......Yankess will win the next 4 and Phillies will be going home in 5 That's great that you're still keeping your sense of humor!! Seriously, good luck!

  5. You should check your local/state laws; I know you need a license to operate these in NY, NJ & PA, possibly quite a few other places as well.
  6. Hi Joanne, Zhen says Hello! We hope you and your family are doing well & had a great Holiday! We took Zhen's employees out for dinner last night at Joy Tsin Lau, where we ate with you before. The line was out the door & we didn't get out of there before 10, but it was worth it. When you're in the Philly area again, let us know, we'd love to get together! Take care! P.S. How did the Moon Cakes turn out?
  7. These 1st two links both resolve to the same site, maybe one is a re-direct? ...anyway, I always thought of these 2 sites below as the 'meat & potatoes' of 001, where the real action takes place, at least they're the ones my wife is always on. But the ones you posted are the 'parent site' of these anyway. http://usa.bbs.net/bbs/01/index.html - Mainly Marriage based Visa Help. or http://usa.bbs.net/bbs/02/index.html - More for personal discussions, seems a lot of post-visa, USA adjustment type stuff.
  8. Well, I have to throw this out there now, our family's little claim to fame... My great, great, great, great, great grandfather was the minister who married Abraham Lincoln's Mother & Father. Personally I vote for Washington on this question though, as someone else said, he was offered the crown of the US & turned it down, who else could or would do that?! And where would we be now if he hadn't...
  9. Yes, K-3 needs to meet the same Income requirements as a K-1.
  10. You are gold mine of information. I'm glad to hear Mexico does not require a visa for green card holders. You just saved me a day sitting in Mexican consulate. Thanks so much for the Delta link! That is a great resource. We took a cruise back in March to the Western Caribbean, Zhen just loved it & I'm sure your wife will too! Have a great time! Steve
  11. I thought so too, very cool of them to do that - I will be writing a nice letter about that for sure! OK, an I-20 is new to me, I will do some searching on what that is. That's also a great idea on contacting the original school since they should know something about it. Thanks, Randy! Sorry - I-20 A link in case it's not in the other thread http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/types/types_1268.html Not a problem, I saw you edit your post & I did the same. I read the other link from CFL you included & one of the things in there said Family Member (which she is not), but then I saw Guardian... all other considerations forgotten, would we be OK trying to do this as her Guardians? I'm gonna check the other link also which you supplied about searching for schools: http://www.tabs.org/about/us_visa.html Thanks again, Randy! I don't think there's a problem there at all - most Chinese people coming here on F-1 visas are college students who may or may not even know someone in the US Right, makes sense.
