Just found out today that Ying passed her name clearance, and is scheduled for an interview on 5/29. Just wanted to share the good news as encouragement that things are still moving along. A kind thanks to Sarah at DOS for returning my calls.

Good to see that things are still moving at BCIS. It will be interesting to see how smoothly things proceed after the interview. Hopefully things will be back to normal and visa will be issued next day.

Is there a particular reason why Ying's name check was resubmitted only after a month? Also did you call Sarah directly at DOS? Congratulations again and best of luck adjusting to the married life

I understand some of the name checks are voluntarily resubmitted if they are being kind of slow. GZ resubmitted mine in mid March. DOS said it was resubmitted because it was going too slow.

 

Now we're just waiting for P4,,, Hope it comes soon!
