RLS
You guys are always worried that your SO'd get lost in her own country by traveling from city to city Ha ha, Eunice:Although Yonghua is from Nanning, I'm sure she wouldn't get lost. I'm absolutely sure I would. Link to comment
wbrettleo
Thanks, Tonado and Trigg. Signal, I've always heard that it is better to be there when she has her interview, for moral support at least, even though you can't go to the interview with her. I guess every situation is different. Some of the fiance's speak very good English - which helps. Mine does not know that much English, at least not enough to have the interview conducted in English. So, in my situation, I feel it will help her more if I am there for the interview. She has requested that I go then - who am I to argue? If I don't go then, I'm sure she will store a mop in each closet. Ron, Go for the interview. Do your BEST to be there for American Citizen's Hour before the interview, then be there on the day. You will be fine! -James Can someone explain this "American Citizen's Hour" to me or point me in a direction where I can find more information about it? This is the first time I have heard of it. awaken
.., I am also concern about taking too many trips like me might cause VO to ask too many questions during my SO's interview. I read through some cases in 001 bbs and some SOs got a blue slip because their fiance or husband take too many trips. Is it possible...??? .. B) .. Link to comment
SirLancelot
.., I am also concern about taking too many trips like me might cause VO to ask too many questions during my SO's interview. I read through some cases in 001 bbs and some SOs got a blue slip because their fiance or husband take too many trips. Is it possible...??? .. .. Anything is possible, but highly unlikely. It makes no sense to me why someone who has the means and the time can't visit his or her SO often. Who is GUZ to dictate otherwise? However, I suspect the ones who may have been blue slipped may have revealed very little income/assets on their I-134 or had very little income on their W-2 and that might have made a VO question how the USC petitioner was able to make so many trips to China. You should be fine going to Chinas as many times as you desire. Just make sure the number of trips is relatively congruent with the amount of your assets or income. B) Link to comment
