    What if...

What I did was change my insurance to have her name and then sent an email and had the discussion even though she did not like to discuss death. I explained this is how we do it here. I gave her user IDs and passwords too. If I check out I am sure my daughter or some relative will inform her. Kids would hae to due to property and such. Don't have an ITIN for her yet, but insurance allowed benficiary without it. I just listed the address, which is a little mix with my zip code and such, but oh well.
  2. 312KM/Hr is about as fast as I have been on to date in Shanghai and Jiangsu Province cities. Does any know if they are planning to connect with Pudong airport, some day/year? If not I would just as soon the thing slide into the ocean.
  3. Pretty good exchange. Didn't get past 35 min though.
  4. I havn't had an ex last 10 years with me. now that says something...

    What if...

I wondered the same thing about death of one of us, or myself in particular. Some of you have my phone number though. I guess if disconnected, well then I am,
  6. So in the long long run maybe the USA headed there...... but save te pets...
  7. My latest comment from her has been that we both know how to CHERISH now, in other words at this time in our lives. I don't think age had so much to do with it other than I am head over heels about her and her me, and this is what we both wanted. I am 17 yrs. older but with her at 42 what's the dif? I am the oldest, heaviest, and make the least money of all she chatted with of any interest to her. I never feared the others. When I discovered who she was on the inside, I got my ass on over there, even though I was the busiest I have ever been at work and things. The others didn't due to being so busy. That was probably the major dif. although she just might have put them off, but you know women. If something is sooo good, you better take action.
  8. Hole locations on an F-16 vary within 0.004 in any direction, translating to .008 from the lower mating hole, for removable doors that is. They line drill for permanant structure, but if they ever have to make a new skin for an old plane, they have a very dificult time trying to match the frame hole locations. Even some newer planes have computer robots drilling holes and guess what? You can't put one piece of skin from one plane to the next without some hand fitting and drilling. Holes don't line up. Point is Carl, your doing a dang good job there,
  9. I suppose this forum helped me keep my sanity. Thanks for putting up with me, and most thinks for you guys and those nothere sacrificing for all of us.
  10. Sorry to stay off topic and you can move this to a thread I know deals with this. She now wants to let the girl go illegal. The school is very high priced and worthless, but it gave her the student visa to get here. She said the lawyers assistant told her it does not matter. Let her go to public school illegal and then rather than file for visa green card just file for the girls citizenship direct in a couple of years. This is wild and concerns me. I advised we better do more research before taking that action after Christmas.
  11. In China, the question is "Is this your car, or not?". You tell them who was driving, and pay the fine. More of a "You're either guilty or you're not"-type thing than innocent until proven guilty. Well good ol Plano, TX is sure revenue streaming. And yes you go to a private company to pay. I still need to get my name off of her car title, because guess where the bill comes everytime she turns a corner?
  12. A guy on talk radio went to court over a 75 dollar camera fine. Texas law, and I think all laws, have to do with an individual commiting a crime, not your car. There is no evidence who is driving. So he got objection after objection in in court from the city attn, and so the guy finally asked a question of the city attn if he had any proof that it was him driving the car. No. So the judge dismissed the case. So technically you could probably beat these tickets. I may do the same next time. The man ended his story by admitting he did run the light. But he beat the thing.
  13. http://www.uscis.gov...000082ca60aRCRD She has been living with her since this summer, and she did adopt her legally now before her 16th birthday. So in a couple of years I think she can pull this off, but the lawyer sure wants her to be a citizen first. I don't think she needs to. Of course no judge granted legal custody before the adoption was complete, so I don't know if tiime before adoption can count. The girl should still be 17 when the 2 years is up, so this is squeeky but can be done. This is partlywhy I lead her to adopting her instead of fulfilling her request that I adopt her when we are divorced already, dah. A green card holder can file for her visa after 2 years adoption. She will have a window to do that filing of a couple of months, before she turns 18. So I think I'm right, she just needs to keep her in that no good school and pay all that tuition to keep the student visa going.
  14. Tsap here there are other cameras up looking every direction where those things are. They will see you coming and going. Need one of those EMP bombs to take out all electronics. RW - deleted semi-politcal part
  15. Well don't forget my ex got arested for being stupid too. They threw her face first into the floor too. She pleaded guilty, even though no intent, and has finished her community service and all probation officers visits. I have no idea how it will afect her ability to become a citizen, because she has now adopted her neice and needs to get her a green card before what, 18? I find out later many Asians are having stupid arrests happen all the time. There is no realization by AUTHORITIES that they mean no harm like the rest. Asians NEED to wake up and run for public office and temper their police forces against Asians. But that isn't going to happen. Both cultures don't understand the other in those situations. Having said all that, it is complete BS what we have to live with these days in the USA. It is a police state and I get so tired of it. And if someone is here working in law enforcement I have no appologies, due mostly to traffic enforcement. I'm thinking all forms of radars should be outlawed. Then just maybe the right things will be patrolled. The Chinese Govt is nothing good, BUT the people are, and they get along with each other. Which brings up the other side of the coin, criminals. If we didn't have them, we wouldn't need the police.
  16. Just to update, the 747 was all updated like the 777 and very comfy. Why they even bother with seat belt signs I don't know. A 747 takes turbulance like it isn't there.
  17. Tzapper I really don't have a clue I made a joke once. The sequal to Blazin Saddles Blisterin Ass I mean you gotta figure. Sittin on that blazin saddle is likely to..... blister that ass, so one follows the other. Ahhhh, maybe that tow truck in Cars would agree with me.
  18. I did my part Dec 7. I went to a defense plant to help produce more advanced weapons. And yes I knew it was the anniversary. Boeing in St Louis, the old McDonald Air. And yes 40 years since the moon and our toilets still overflow.
  19. Well mine is excited to try. When asked about the school across the courtyard, she said she did not think they would let her shoot, or me. Well anyway,...
  20. The wife is scared of guns. She wouldn't know what to do with it. Besides, they stay locked up in a safe that she can't open. I keep the one out for me but it is in my sight at all times. Glad you Yall did the guy thing. I just know if we collected Perry Menapause victims and put them in a war, it would be over in about 10 seconds. We would win. Sorry there Chillin, just havin a recolection.
  21. http://i47.tinypic.com/oqdaxk.jpg Shooting School for Olympics & etc. http://i45.tinypic.com/2m81j0l.jpg 2nd floor, window walls are removable and targets are on a rooftop. http://i45.tinypic.com/3465gcl.jpg #2 Boss & Shooter Wife visited this a few days ago and found the folks knew me, all the same school complex where she works. Need to have them give her a shot. Heck I need to see if they will let me shoot too, next trip. Now Chowls, you sure you want guns in that house? I hid mine when the other misses around.
  22. You know most of the lights burnt out the last time I was in China. I took the covers off and got the neon double tube thingie and then went to a home depot looking store and they don't carry that one type. Neither did any other store. So the wife calls a man and he fixes all of them. I have a lot of time on my hands and I knew where the industrial supply little shops were at one end of town. So I walked the whole thing. She calls me home for lunch and I said sure. So I took the last isle of stores and found one, that is ONE lighting store. They had exactly what I needed. Price? Well if I had done it myself it would cost the same as this repair man parts and all. Of course he gets a discount, and I'm not Chinese. But I was happy I found a supplier anyway. If needed again I will either negotiate a price or just call the little guy. Besides he was friendly and wanted to sit and compare China and the USA. Oh and I think importing American bought plungers for the toilet is the only way to go. That cheap stuff in China is the same they sell in Walmart which lasts one usage and then the stick is through it. I did replace the shower head and flex line I broke on the previous trip. Seems it wouldn't hold my weight when I tried to hang myself out of pure happiness. That felt good. Now where to find better screws and nuts and tools..... next trip..... just so I know.
  23. Welcome, though I am not sure I can welcome anyone. Well who knows the truth of all this. Even if it were not another man visiting her during the communication stoppage, and it didn't work out, it bothers me that she is so concerned about the wait and requirements of the visa, rather than truly in love and trusting. And maybe she does truly love you and is faithful, but American adjustment may not be easy and may result in panic and problems for both of you down the road you didn't anticipate. Better to hurt them now than further down the road. They don't like to lose anyone either. My ex-Chinese found out about my new Chinese bride and was all over me like a cat in heat. That was not easy to walk away from, but of course I had to. Boy just starting English. Well my wife had seen a lot of the world with her job and simply decided 3 years before meeting that she would have to learn English, so we can talk. In other words she prepared first and advises others who ask her about a good man outside of China. 99% of them want to save, but for me that translates to controlling, which I think many are. I found a few, who are now friends who are not so bad about that. Just talk it out, but don't let her know what your trying to determine. Now the young one writing sweet emails reminds me of my what my present wife did, which was completely opposite of all the others. You might want a short trip to her first. And how will you explain a trip to China if she works out? Yes the age thing may matter but your 50 and not 58/59 and that makes a difference. I imagine she will want kids, so 50 isn't entirely out of the question. I saw a couple the other day with 2 little boys and all looked happy. On the other hand she has been here only 4 months and has not had time to make new friends. Would she stick? Having said this and I could say more, I have no idea what I am talking about and only you can tell. Just be ware. It can be the best pu$$y on earth, like silk is sandpaper in comparison, and the meanest battle ax you ever met after marriage.
  24. Going for the CR-1 & 2. My new wife was actually born in Viet Nam. Her Chinese parents lived there when most of their kids were born. 2-3 children died there. Parents move back to China. They go to the government to register all the kids. They get the birthdays mixed up with her dead sister. They don't bother to register the dead. She has a document showing she was born in a Chinese city in China with the wrong birthdate. Her and her parents were told by the Chinese government that there is no way to correct the birthdate. She has no way to get any record from Viet Nam, if one even exists. So, I am thinking of just getting the translation of the birth paper showing all in China. If I mention all this mix up Viet Nam business will that open a can of worms? On all documents she has in China it has the wrong birthdate and she just keeps it going that way. Only a Guangxi has a work record book showing Viet Nam as place of birth, but that is over 5 years ago, and we don't have to report that. Also that is only because she told them she was born there. Again no Chinese government record, although that book is a record since all her work career has been with a province or a team, civil servant. ONTHE OTHER HAND, I like to be honest. But man if one cannot get records? What to do? (maybe it is a way to get her true birthday on American records? Not that it matters to either of us.) Any advice is appreciated.
