dont know if you did same as i, but before i came back home, i made copies of everything rong recieved at her interview.....she has since sent back to GUZ her blue slip along with the requested documents....hopefully they dont lose anything...is there a way to check to see if they have recieved and everything concerning the blue slip is rectified and do not need anything else other than the dna test results?...i just hate sending emails to guz because the have never ever replied to anything i have asked them in an email....always is the canned generic response

isn't it amazing what some countries can do with their infrastructure when they don't have to blow all their money fighting terrorism almost singlehandedly, being the policeman to the world and taking care of the welfare countries of the world who in return spit in our face....how about the fact that we support isreal and their ideals and also hand over millions to the palestinians....something wrong with this picture?

upon returning home from visiting my lady in march 2007 at the end of the china new year, was unpacking and empying out my pockets....had a shirt style jacket i was wearing....emptied out the top pockets and found about a dozen very nice firecrackers....hahahahaha....funny now, but i am sure would have been no laughing matter if had been found B)

i would say any kind of government position is very good....they have the best benefits at taxpayer expense and job security seems very good...especially visa officer positions.....can be as polite or as rude as you want with no obvious consequenses

yes....i am aware this happens...but she had all the supporting documentation for this...hospital booklets for when both children were born, birth certificates in both languages, the birth certificates notarials, divorce booklet stating custody and certified translations, letter from her ex stating his permission to take children to USA, photos of her and the children from when they were babies to now....she had it all, but "M" would not even look at it!!! And the I-134 that she was also gigged for, rong had this and gave to her...."M" just chose not to even look at it!!....was nothing wrong with the I-134 that was presented to her. Rong asked her why the blue slip and "M" just told her if she does not leave now, the police will come to remove her

yes i had phone records , emails, pictures of us ,and us with baby, western union transfers, all previosly filed forms, and the required forms at the interview. ive got the DNA test kit on its way to GZ... just hoping they can collect our samples soon ! oyes... just to note she was interviewed by the Old Sea Hag in GZ same that ordered ours!...and she had all the documents, hospital books, birth certificates, translations....VO said "i dont want to see anything....you just answer questions"

Now charles....you know that would be far too easy.....of course there are many places to have this done in China....but why do it in China when they can make you wait much longer by having it done in the usa, or canada, or get this...even can have it done in the dominican republic.....rong wanted to get it done in xi'an before going to the interview, but i knew they would not accept the results because GUZ clearly states it must be done from one of their approved sites....and the other thing is, it is a "buccal swab test" a q-tip swab from the mouth...rong is leary of the results of this....thinks is not a good way to prove the relationship and would much prefer they draw blood for this...but spit is what they want so spit they will get...i aint too up on this, so i would like to know if this is a foolproof way to prove the relationship....is the saliva a conclusive way to prove the relationship?

yes....i know....and i also know that what you and i and the rest of the group of 14 think and really want to say is not fit for print in even the "bluest" of website forums.... ya know what really sucks is that the consulate continues to employ her....these people...the VO's, are "ambassadors" of the USA, and i would think their superiors would want them to give a favorable impression of what a United States citizen is like...i can tell ya right now that my gal thinks shit of americans because of her treatment there.....when she was given the blue slip, rong asked the VO "why?"....the VO told her if she does not leave immediately, she will call the police to have her removed....now what the hell kind of treatment is this???.....rong was among the last few to be interviewed...there were several VO's with no one at there window...was no reason to hurry for anything....the freakin I-134 was right in front of her and she did not even look at it....then on the blue slip it says we need a I-134....WTF????...how is it that her (M's) superiors do not know what a sham she is and how detrimental she is to the publics view of her peers....where is her boss?....is definately time for housecleaning in GUZ

went to ach with dale...talked with an asian man...very nice..talked about the concerns we had and told him of everything we had to support our case...indicated to me that he thought was not a problem with the supporting documents we had...feeling pretty upbeat the next couple of days....interview day, went to consulate and waited and waited and waited for her to come out.......finally she comes out with blue slip.....everyone who does not get the pink knows the feeling all too well....she got this slender,50 something white woman with short graying hair for a VO...i will restrain my true feelings for her at this time....rong approached her and politely said "good morning"....VO gave her a snide look and said..."papers please" in chinese language....rong told VO she speaks english fine and would like to do interview in english....VO told her "no...will speak chinese"....the VO's chinese was very poor and rong had difficulty hearing her because the VO spoke very quietly....rong had to repeatedly ask her what it was she said because of the VO's poor chinese...rong asked if she can get her things out(documents)....VO said.."no...no need anythings and i will ask the questions"....asked her my age....asked when she got divorced 5 times!!...then asked for photos..rong gave her the photos...had clipped together with paperclips according to visits...VO in an agravated manner took the clips and threw them about in her cubicle...looked at the photos, said nothing and then actually threw the photos into the underpass slot....rong seen the pink slip sitting there.....VO then asked about her children....asked why she has two children...said to rong, "you know china has one child policy"....rong said she has two children because she has two children and that she paid to the china government the money to have the second child....by now rong is getting pretty rattled as i am sure was the VO's intent....rong was asked for I-134 and some other documents...gave the papers to her and VO did not even take the time to look at the papers and then pulled out a blue slip....said she needed I-134(which rong gave to her but she did not look at) and also said she and her son need to have DNA test.....so that is where we are at now...jumping through more hoops....as i said....the others who have gotten the blue or white very well know my feelings...and for this particular VO, i will hold my tongue.....i am currently making arrangements to have the DNA test kit sent from a lab in LA to GUZ....rong will then need to travel to guz and GUZ facility doctor will take the oral swabs and send back to lab....lab will process and then send results back to GUZ....then rong and children will need go back to guz again.....for last time i hope....in closing, i will just say... i know if she had gotten any other VO, she would have easily gotten the pink....this woman VO obviously does not like her job and needs to be assigned to some other menial tasks so that she cannot interfere with the lives of people she has no clue about.....just a bit of advise for others that may get this person in the future...if your fiancees number is called for her to go to this womans window, she should instead very quickly head to the wc and wait for about 10 - 15 minutes and see if when returning they have taken someone else and then get a chance to get a different VO....trust me....anyone else will be better than this one

hi everyone...arrived china this afternoon...go to guangzhou on sunday....interview on thursday.....feeling pretty upbeat now....just need to get everything organized....wish us luck....c'mon pink

back in May when we were made eligible for interview, we were hoping to make the June cut for interviews......but did not happen....so we ended up being among the very first for the July interviews, maybe even the first...and we got a July 31st interview date.....but as we watched others get theirs, the dates were spread all across the month...so it seems that there is no rhyme or reason for the appointing of the dates

maybe should have told them...if want to talk to someone there, they must first go to the local Chase Bank and buy a card for $7.75 to talk with you for 12 minutes and then let them use up their minutes talking to other people first before letting them talk to you for 30 seconds.

of all the emails i have sent, have never gotten what i would call a personal response/reply to anything.....is almost like a computer generated response/reply....is just my opinion that they have a selection of responses for many qestions you might ask and they just select response #1, or #2, or #3, or #4...etc, etc......no thinking or writing for them....just they choose from a menu of responses/replies.

i know i will later regret making this post...but here goes not that it matters...but what i think is.....why does there always have to be finger pointing to(in this case "global warming") when it is a fact that the earthe goes through natural warming and cooling cycles and that the world oil consumption plays a very minor role in this? i'm not a tree hugger by any stretch of the imagination, but i dont go out of my way to burn more natural resources than what our society dictates for me to live my life in these united states.....our society is a mobile society and if china or india would have hit the industial age at the same time we did and used the technology for the advancement of their societies as we did, then they also would be consumers of natural resources just as we are today....is no right or wrong and i am trying to justify nothing....it is just the way things happened.... but as far as "global warming" is concerned, is only my opinion that it is just another way for the government to profiteer by selling pollution credits to companies which are ultimately passed on to you, the consumers, through higher prices for products and services bought.

in the checked baggage will be no problem.....i have brought home swords, meat cleavers, butcher knives etc. with no one ever saying anything to me about it....

My Fiancee's daughter has said is very ok to leave her friends behind in the china....but she very no want to leave her cat behind.....has anyone here brought from china the family pet?...if so, how to go about doing this?.....appreciate any help or information i can get for this...thanks

you can pursue the happiness, but is a totally different thing to actually have the happiness(in this case the form of a pink slip)....and yes, is what once made this country great, but over the past 232 years the lawmakers in washington have slowly but surely decided that they know more about how to make you happy and secure and know more about what is best for you than you do. tell em about it tsap!

I will be flying out of chicago on the 24th....arriving Xi'an on the 25th.....help my lady get all her things for the interview together and fly to GUZ on the 27th...i plan on going to ach on the 28th....staying at the Yangs...our interview date is the 31st of july.....barring no complications, are hoping to recieve the visa the following monday or tuesday and then back to Xi'an....pack up, have farewell dinners and then get outta Dodge

best way to get the updates for your p3 and p4/interview date is to call dos....202-663-1225..then press 1....then press 0....they will ask for your case number and give you any updates available at the time of call....call everyday if you like..is what they get paid to do

Thanks Charles....i have read this before...and it just underscores the need to be very organized when going before the VO....and of course it is as my rong says....some women are lucky and some are no lucky for the VO they are assigned to get for the interview....some is the most simple interview and a quick pink and others are grilled for no particular reason and then is just a roll of the dice as to what they will get

For the women and children who do not live in the town or city of their birth, is it required to have the birth certificates translated in the city of birth? Or can they have these documents prepared and translated and notarized in their current city of residence? I am sure you are aware that some people live very far away from where their children were born, and is extremely difficult to travel so far to go to the original place of birth for these documents. If they have in their possesion the hospital book of the childrens birth, can they take this book to the government office in the city in which they currently live to get more birth certificates and translations as required for the interview?

All these blues makes me blue, too. Why? So many time lines seems pretty normal and straightforward: common ways of meeting; frequent visits; lots of time.
