  1. Thanks a lot :-) I'm watching the 3rd episode now and my mandarin is so bad I'm just skipping the drama for later. By soon I hope you mean days or weeks haha.
  2. http://www.youku.com/playlist_show/id_2580667.html Thank Yakun (Samantha)!
  3. Ah! I've been waiting for this to come out, its out now?! I'm so excited, I have to go find it!
  4. And then you won't even know if it has english subtitles or not till you download it The torrent your downloading doesn't have subs, but you can get the english subs here: http://www.allsubs.org/subs-download/ghosts-2006-wrd/128126/
  5. I'd say good luck getting through customs with a foreign bottle of liquor and a dead snake inside. You better ship it and hope it makes it
  6. Its a beautiful picture you paint, enjoy the good times :-)
  7. Just make sure she understands she needs to write down any food that she has brought, just try and get her to not bring any and she wont have any problems with them going through the bags. That's usually their main concern, the second thing I see people getting hit for is the money thing.
  8. At this point, I don't think she would have the baby before she made it to the u.s. but it is risking her being ready to give birth at the time of flight O_o
  9. The Chinese don't have ownership to that approach. Anyone in a relationship that ignores this simple rule, deserves what they get. A wise man once said: "She was a fast machine, she kept her motor clean She was the best damn woman that I ever seen She had the sightless eyes, telling me no lies Knockin' me out with those China-girl thighs Taking more than her share, had me fighting for air She told me to come but I was already there" ~Singing in a corny voice~ Love is a battlefield~ Love is the happiness you feel for someone who understands you, and deeply enjoys the person you are, someone who not only wants but needs you and would do just about anything to make you happy, safe and healthy. Its so many things it could be described for eternity But because we all need and want something different, love is a personal thing to each of us, something different for everyone.
  10. Lets hold off on that until I arrive in November shall we?
  11. The same as every night, no different.
  12. You should be thanking me Dylan.. if I didn't start the topic up again... who knows what your night would have been like?!
  13. If you've seen the horrors I see every day, you would think differently. I wasn't exaggerating on the 10 foot drop. As for buying it cheaply in china, yes some things can be bought cheaply. But I really doubt they will have the top of the line video card for cheap, MAYBE cheaper, the I-Phone there is far more expensive than it would be to buy here, even with out a contract. To buy a cheap computer, I'm sure it would be.. cheap.
  14. Thanks Darnell, that gives me some peace of mind. This is not a cheap computer, the graphics card alone was bought for $400. I will take out any cards attached to the motherboard and package them neatly so if any falls do occur nothing bad will happen. And then tape the rest of it up with foam and use peanuts for the rest. I understand your attachment to your Mac Jim but this is a gaming computer, and a graphics tool for Maya and 3Ds Max ;-) as soon as Macs can play all games I'll consider one
  15. I built my new Desktop computer about 5 months ago and I'm rather attached to it. The way I see it I have several options, none of which I am particularly fond of. 1. Disassemble and package with care, take in luggage. 2. Package entire thing with luggage, big chance of it dropping 10FT to its doom (I see it happen every day). 3. Disassemble and package with care, ship to china, possibility of it being stolen (is there an insurance option with packages in China?) 3. package entire thing and ship to China. I'm not sure which would be the cheapest option, and which would be best. I suppose I could Disassemble and take the important/expensive parts with me and have the rest on my checked baggage. Any other thoughts/ideas?
  16. I guess the answer then is for both of you to only communicate in Japanese? Or, did I misread Erika's post? No, if I recall correctly their handling of misunderstandings it has something to do with puttin' the missus under wherever you're standing. I definitely like this approach! Genius. Makes the both of you too tired to argue
  17. Leaving in November also.. so umn.. nyeah.. thanks -__- I will be eating what my sweety gives me, shes quite the health fanatic and is always up to date on what is safe and where to buy ;-) So I wont worry too much, I'm just going to make sure to eat only what she does hah.
  18. I guess the answer then is for both of you to only communicate in Japanese? Or, did I misread Erika's post? Nani?
  19. It does state if you are speaking with someone using Tom Skype (just the name given for the Chinese version) then what you say will be recorded. So yes, if you are simply chatting to USC or other countries you should be fine, but talking with your honey in China using Skype, what you say is being recorded. Unless she is using the U.S. version also? I haven't tried that, but maybe that wont even fix it, because the server you connect to probably routs the same way, thus you are still getting monitored.
  20. Honestly.. I feel violated.. I mean... all those naught things I said...
  21. yes, you are being monitored. http://www.iht.com/articles/2008/10/02/tec...ogy/02skype.php
  22. I admit I didn't search too hard, maybe xiaoFeiZhu or you could enlighten me?
