  1. Congratulations! Gosh, you've certainly had a long wait! Really hope your P4 flys through the process! Jerry
  2. It took them about a week and a half to get our P3 in the system. You're right; it depends on when you catch them, since I know some people get theirs in within a day. And with Jasonw, a week and a half was more time than they needed to complete processing of his file. Boy, this entire process with GZ has really reaffirmed my believe in God, or Lao Tien. There seems to be no order or structure or how long things take or who gets picked next... Jerry
  3. Here's the latest P4 list that Francine (Lucky Francine ) compiled on 001. http://www.001.com.cn/forum/usa/220663.html There's been talk on 001 on how some people needed to have a name check done between P3 and P4 while others did not. Anyone know anything about that? The current hypothesis seems to be some files got forwarded to GZ from NVC before the check was complete, but that doesn't sound right to me... Also, a number analyzer over there (their own resident Clifford ) noticed that people tended to get P4's towards the beginning of the month, say between the 5th and the 10th. Has anyone noticed that trend here? Jerry
  4. I got one of these too. Wording's almost identical, except mine listed the forms they received (since I listed them in my question, I think ) I don't know about everyone else, but GZ has been doing a great job answer my e-mails. With the last few, I've been getting a reply just a few hours later! One time I got one after 6 PM on a Friday GZ time! Jerry
  5. I've seen quite a few postings on BCIS related forums where folks are getting RFE's for not including birth certificates. Seems to happen more often with CSC and when the beneficiaries are from Asia. Seems kind of strange since birth certificate's not in the instructions, but... Anyway if you have an extra copy, wouldn't hurt to toss it in the pile of supporting evidence... Jerry
  6. I know it stinks to be waiting for an unknown time duration. Though the positive thing here is that they have assured you that the file is not lost, so you know that there *will* be a completion date eventually. If it were lost, there would be no end date... Looking for things to be thankful for on this day... Jerry
  7. I'm very thankful for finally being out of the P3 Pit... Jerry
  8. It is good to see someone at the top who is concerned with the issues of the masses. I've seen in large organizations where the worker bees are overworked and constrained by the rules to be able to deviate from the norm to address problems that arise in individual cases, and it takes a rule maker at the top who can see the big picture and have the freedom to do the right thing. Sometimes you get people at the top who just don't give a sh*t, but fortunately that doesn't appear to be the case here. Jerry
  9. I believe so. My understanding is that it's like mailing an Express Mail letter here; it's part of the service. My fiancee didn't know about this either and was surprised when I asked her to go dig out the receipt so I could check it on the web site... Jerry
  10. This is the URL for the shipment tracking page: http://www.ems.com.cn/ems3/cx.htm You just need the serial number from the receipt. Jerry
  11. Looking at your timeline, it looks like you're fast approaching your one year anniversary. I wish you the best of luck though I'm sure the interview will go fine. I can understand feeling tired; I'm feeling a bit of that myself and I'm nowhere near where you are. But hey, this is the last obstacle. After this, you're home free! Jerry
  12. I asked them if they've received the forms and the e-mail I got back said that they "have not processed the forms", whatever that means. (I need to learn how to answer questions in this oblique manner. Seems like a useful skill to have in the office. ) Th EMS site shows that it was signed for at the White Swan but who knows... Jerry
  13. Jesse, Just curious, when did your P3 go back to the consulate? Ours was received last week but it's still not in their computer , even though it seems like a ton of people just before us on 001 got into the computer. Oh god I hope this isn't the start of another pit... Jerry
  14. Is the procedure the same in Moscow, i.e. just get the file into the computer and then send out the P3? Or are there checks to be done before P3 goes out? Hope you see some movement soon! Jerry
  15. only me left...http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/25/25_7_20.gif Hopefully you'll be out soon! They seem to be turning around P3's really fast now. I know someone whose case was received on the 13th that just got their P3... If I had just waited a few more months before filing the petition, I could have gotten fast service as GZ too. Oh, but wait, then the CSC wait would have been much longer... Jerry
  16. With the recent P3's going out, I was wondering if anyone from our original P3 Pit Crew is still waiting for a P3... Jerry
  17. Guess they don't need all the forms, then. We just got our P3 less than two weeks ago and there were three forms to send back, not two... Jerry
  18. You also need to send back the Supplementary Info form. Jerry
  19. Ah, no such luck. Not even in the computer yet... Settling in for the long wait... Jerry
  20. Holy cow! Congrats! I guess I should to give these guys a ring too. We sent ours back on the 18th... Jerry
  21. What about the supplemental sheet? And that too. We just turned ours around last week and there were three documents that had to go back... Jerry
  22. Congrats, Rob! I can almost imagine how you feel. Hope the next stage goes much faster! Jerry
  23. Congratulations to the both of ya! I'm really happy for you that you finally saw some daylight! Jerry
  24. A couple more entries from 001: http://www.001.com.cn/forum/usa/215970.html Jerry
