  1. Oops! I am sorry. Well, then you are in good shape. You still need to notarize your affidavit support. After that, you will be okay. The best is, find a place where they know how to fill the application. Have them notarize the affidavit support for you, and ask them if it's okay. If you live in San Francisco, you will easily find help.
  2. I think you need to provide why you didn't file for the last 3 years. also, you need to provide current employment proof, so that they believe you can support your wife. Make them all notarized too. It will be much easier if your income is 5 times of the poverty line. You should go to one of the immigration services, just ask them what you need to provide if you didn't have the last 3 years tax return because your low income. Most likely, they will just tell you.
  3. Congratualtions on your interview! I am sure your life will become whole once this journey is over.
  4. Dave, I remember I said I will not have kids for at least 10 years before. I am not sure who disagreed with me. But I think, kids really can take away the "romance". I will have "romance" first. Then when my wife and I both feel "ready" to have kids, then we will give up "romance". I know that many would say, "of course you can have romance with kids." But I would rather have "romance" without kids. It's much easier. Woman is very moody when pregnent. Also, woman loves to say one thing, but meant totally the opposite. When she said, "it will die soon. She meant, I love it, do it more often, because they die fast." When she said, "you are not romantic." She really meant, "I want more from you." One thing for sure, she is madly in love with you.
  5. For SSN, he needs just a valid passport.
  6. I really feel the pain in you Rob. I feel it's going to be early Feb for the interview. I think, you should get the P4 notice within days since the interview is coming.
  7. I believe it should be at Feburary 1st or 2nd. I give it a big hope for it.!
  8. I am very glad that you have the same experience as I do. My fiancee will be here on Sunday. Boy I tell you! I can't stop smiling whenever I think about it! I have been waiting for this day ever since I got back from China in May. I miss her everyday. I count the days. It has been God's wonders. Boy, 2 more days!! I can't hold on to it any longer!!!!
  9. Rob. Not sure where you get that information. But if the car only goes 15mph, I am sure I don't take that ride. Driving in China much different from driving in America. Most drivers use their common sense and eyes, instead of expecting others to follow the lights. It is an adventure in their taxi:) Hi Dave, long time no see. Bet you are too busy to be online now.
  10. Keep on it. I called my Congresswoman's office like every month to make sure they hear my voice. And always state how long you have had your case filed. It does make a huge difference if your Congressman write something on behalf of you. Good luck
  11. My fiancee will be here this Sunday. Can she travel in U.S. with her Chinese Passort and her K1 Visa? I want to take her to LV or LA on plane.
  12. it should be okay. Email and chat logs should be sufficient. Also, you may not need them at all when it's time. I prepared all the stuff for my fiancee, but they were not needed.
  13. well, consider how long it took for them to clear the name. It is not speedy after all.
