Mick and Xiaohua, I just can't express how glad I am to have met with you this time! Hope one day we are able to meet again in the states. I'm to leave for L.A. from Shanghai on the 16th., just got the ticket yesterday. Need to pack up now. Chat later!

At last now, I feel somewhat relieved! The whole process has taken us more than 18 months. The twists and turns in this experience gave me a chance to reflect about the real life and real love. What's more, I feel most lucky that I have made so many friends here, on Candle, who fight and strive for our cherished love, suffer and share together, help and support each other. We have gone through so many things and I'm sure the friendship will last forever! For those who are still waiting for the visas, the dawn is ahead of you. GZ is working hard on the blackhole cases now, so let's believe all of you can hear from good news and fly to your sweethearts soon. 12 persons from 001 and Candle met at GZ Consulate yesterday. We all went to pick up the visas. I have put the pictures on www.visadelays.com. B)

Don't worry Calvin. I called GZ this Monday and they told me the same thing. But the next day, my EMS was sent out. So take it easy now, and you will get it soon.

The post man knocked at my door just now and gave me the Damned EMS!Yes, it's from GZ, sent on Mar 5th. It has been 18 months since we first started the K-1 process. I have booked the ticket to GZ this coming Sunday. And hopefully I can meet Mick's couple and Jennifer at the consulate on Monday. I believe all blackhole sufferers will get good news soon! My time line: Interview -- 8/29/02 Resubmission -- 1/4/03 Cleared and cabled to GZ --2/14/03 cable received by GZ --2/24/03 EMS sent --3/5/03 EMS received --3/7/03

Yes, Shantou is a city full of rich people. most of them got rich overnight. They are probably not well-educated, but absolutely business-minded. The environment won't be pleasant if people only have money to buy cars yet are not aware of their duty to keep the city clean.

wedding gowns, jeans, bags, casual wears... It depends on what you need. But I would go for snacks myself. The wedding gowns are cheap and good. Maybe Jennifer can give you some advice of the right place to shop.

They told me that my namecheck result was not back to GZ yet. However, CA told me it was cleared and sent to GZ 13 days ago. I wonder what happened to my case
