Mike I set an account and never received an e-mail but we got her green card last Saturday in the mail. When i checked on line the case status had not changed but i am not complaining as long as it came. Good luck and hope it moves quickly. Jim and Ying

Well today the Green Card arrived with no mistakes so i guess my luck has held out. Went to the mail box and saw her name and a letter from Ca. and knew it was her card. Yesterday the letter today the card now i hope her son's comes soon. Wish everyone here could be as lucky sometimes it is so unfair that the system is so messed up that many have to wait way to long to be with someone they love. Jim and Ying

[ I Have not been on lately as i have fibromyalgia which sometimes leaves me feeling ill and in pain. We were scheduled to have a Aos hearing in Oct. and they canceled it and sent our case to CA. I was worried as due to my income changing due to not being able to work i was below the poverty guidelines. I wrote a letter in the Aos paperwork explaining why and also that my wife wanted to work badly and if she had her greencard our income together would met the guidelines. Well today to my surprise the Welcome to the U.S.A. arrived. Wow what a surprise and Ying was jumping around dancing saying it was a wonderful lucky day. Her sons letter has not arrived yet but i am sure it will come in a few days. I have been very lucky in this visa process in many ways. Ying also saw her first snow today and she was out prancing in it and thought it was so pretty on the trees. Wait until we get a big storm then i will see how she feels . Rick The civil surgeon here was not sure either so i told her all we needed was the I-693 so she finally agreed to only do the shot updates. She wanted to do a complete medical again but after telling her we only needed it if was longer than a year she said okay it sounds like you know more about it then i do. The I-693 must be in a sealed envelope also and when i got the I-693 i asked for a few copies before she sealed them. Good luck Jim and Ying

We sent our AOS package August 14th and received our Noa on the 20th of August and on the 1st of Sept. recieved biometrics appt. for the 8th of Sept.. Sept.14 received interview for October 10th. Today received a letter canceling the interview and in another letter saying the case was sent to the Ca. center. Any ideas what is happening? Thanks . Jim and Ying

Hi Mike Ying went to Health Care Center of Guangdong International Travel in Guangzhoc and she did do the expediated service. She said it would be 5 days if she did not so she paid the 100 yuan extra. Jim

Mike It was all information she knew like name,where she was going etc. there was no charge and it was hospital staff that helped her. I hope all goes well for the interview as i am sure it will as you have planned well for this. Jim

Mike I asked my wife about the medical and she said there were some papers in English to fill out but the people there that helped her fill them out. Hope this helps. Jim
