Thank a lot Carl and everyone. My parents came from Beijing, they don't have other citizenship beside chinese. And I have ever read a news that Chinese goes to other american countries they used to get an other entry to the US such as Canada , Mexico or other countries around won't count. If it is true, the canada trip won't help either. It seems to find the policy about 10 days grace period is the cheapest and most convenient way.I will see, what I can do, it seems I have to work more in this summer to get more money to pay either extend visa or change ticket.

Hi, folks, I need help for my parrents' visaes. My parents came to visit us on April 8th, and the tickets they booked is on Oct, 8th, half year round trip. But on their I-94 they are allowed stay in US till Oct. 7th. The officer who signed I-94 said if they leave on Oct 8th they will not alowed to come again in the future. I heard about there is 10 days grace period for B2 visa, but i cannot find it from USCIS, I hope somebody here can help me. Or give me some other suggestion. Sorry to hear about the blue. It takes time to overcome. But the bright side is maybe he can get his CR1 or IR1 without this CCP issue. It took me about 4-5 months after I handed in the personal statment at interview. Then I got my CR1 visa without any other problem. I changed to IR1 at airport when I entered the US. An other case mailed the statement after came back from Guangzhou,it took her 1 more month than mine. The longest wait case I knew for overcome CCP issue is 1 year. A k3 case is a lady got blue at interview, she handed in her personal statement, and her CR1 still going on. Then she got CR1 interview after 4 months, she got her CR1 visa without any ccp problem, the k3 check for CCP issue works on her CR1. So as long as your marriage is true, and his majore and work is not sensitivity, the only thing is time. It will take longer time than others for sure, but he will get his visa finally. Maybe the security check for male will longer than female. I am not sure about this, only my personal guess from the cases I knew. Good luck!

Actually you read my timeline right, Carl, my intervew was on Nov.1st 2006, and I got my visa in hand on March 31st 2007, that is totally 5 months.I got I overcomes that issue earlier though through e-mail from GUZ and calling DOS,so it seems like about 4 months. Paula took 1 more month than my case becase I handed in my statment at interview, she mailed it after she came back time. It took 1 more month for mail, receive and process the mail. She have quited 2 years before her interview. So from our cases if quit CCP not effect the process.

I did hear it took somebody about 1 year to overcome the ccp issue,but till know I didn't hear anybody got blue twice just for it. Do you sure only ccp membership cause your SO blue? Does her job or university majore is hypersensitive to GZ? Does she have very high degree such as doctorial degree? Did she have ever serve in army? If only for ccp issue, and she joined it just for her job, explain honestly for all item it required will be ok, they will check it and then get a result finally. It maybe takes time but most of the cased I heard passed finally. You can call DOS and e-mail GZ check your case status, but don't e-mail GZ too often.

The supervisor changed the CR/1 to IR/1 finally, I wil translate the whole story into english soon. There is something wrong in chinese version, some part cannot read,I don't know why.Maybe that is why made you hard to understand well. Recently most reports were about could not change CR/1 to IR/1 either at airport or the immigration service. If your wife will change visa too, need make sure she will see the supervisor after the imagrate officer telling her cannot change,then require to change visa, don't expect the immigration service do it automatically. What I read from 001 is a lady even mailed to the immigration service talking about change to ir1 after she failed change at airport stil got 2 year green card.
