WOW, My wife is also Shanghai woman, her family has lived there several generations.... I loved it there and am anxious to return also, but she said do not come and suffer with the heat.... said it is much better in November.... but I hope she is here by that time, but based on the swift action on most applications it appears several more months..... But, I am happy for you and your SO.... have a great time...

I am not as experienced as some of the others here, but based on what I have observed to date, it is better to do it right, to keep any reason for denial out of thier hands....... keep your SO informed and see her as often as possible....

Hankhoude - Since your I-130's are already at NVC, there is no point to start I-129F. Your CR1 and CR2 will be in Guangzhou in about 8 to 12 weeks. Getting CR1 visa is much better because it's green card upon entry and SO can work immediately and the only adjustment is to change the temporary green card to the 10 year green card on your 2nd anniversary. There are plenty of adjustments to make with K3/K4 visas after laopo and stepdaughter arrived in US.
