I would think the Citizenship ceremony is much more important then one day of school, the shcool work can be made up, the ceremony can not.

My wife and kids were in China for two months this year and that was when I realized that, that little cup of tea she always had sitting on the end table at the end of my day was one of her little ways of telling me she loves me. I do little things around the house for her with out her asking or my telling her I did it, but I know when she notices it, she'll walk by and touch my neck and smile at me, and I know.
