If an artist sign their art it is copyrighted by American law. It does not have to copyrighted on paper, American courts will side with the artist that sign the art. you can buy the rights from the artist or draw your own. When I sell my art I sell the art not the rights, if I sell the rights I must sign and have it notarize that I have turn over the rights. The problem is I doubt very much you will find the artist. THURSDAY, Nov. 30 (HealthDay News) -- Asian immigrants in the United States have lower rates of mental health problems than people, including those of Asian descent, who were born in the country, a new study finds. ADVERTISEMENT For example, the study found that American-born women are twice as likely to have a depressive disorder as Asian-born women living in the United States. The researchers interviewed nearly 2,100 native-born or immigrant Asian Americans, 18 and older, about their history of a number of mental health problems: depression, anxiety, phobias, eating disorders, substance and alcohol abuse, and post traumatic stress disorder. "Roughly 48 percent of Americans will have some kind of lifetime disorder. In our study, less than one in four Asian-American immigrants will have a disorder. However, that won't necessarily be the case for their children and grandchildren. If trends continue, rates for them will go up, and that suggests that more investment is needed for prevention programs," study lead author David Takeuchi, a sociologist and social work professor at the University of Washington, said in a prepared statement. Other findings from the study: There were no significant differences among the main Asian immigrant groups in the United States -- Chinese, Filipinos and Vietnamese. Among Asian men, those born elsewhere are less likely to have a substance abuse problem than those born in the United States. Asian immigrants who arrived in the United States as elementary school-age children have an easier time learning English than older children but are more likely to develop a substance abuse problem. Takeuchi said this study raised issues that warrant further investigation. For example, he'd like to compare the mental health circumstances of immigrants who voluntarily migrate and those who are refugees. "Someone who is a voluntary immigrant doesn't typically suffer the severe trauma that a refugee who is fleeing persecution or war does," Takeuchi said. my brother paying 1000 child support for his 2 daughters and he has the daughters 6 days a week because the court will not give him custody, his ex just spend the money on clothing and jewlery, he even have to stock their refrig if his daughters have to stay at his ex for more than 1 day. only time she will take the children is on holiday so he can't bring them down for family to see. He has it all documented but the court still will not change custody. she get into a screaming match with her daughter every time they together. BOSTON - In an effort to make the citizenship exam more meaningful, the federal government said Monday it will test an exam that relies less on trivia ¡ª such as asking the name of the president's house ¡ª and more on applicants' grasp of American democracy. The new exam will be given to volunteers beginning this winter in Albany, N.Y.; Boston; Charleston, S.C.; Denver; El Paso, Texas; Kansas City, Mo.; Miami; San Antonio; Tucson, Ariz.; and Yakima, Wash. The current test is heavy on historical facts, and includes questions about the colors of the U.S. flag and the name of the form used to apply for citizenship. The new exam will ask about the Bill of Rights and the meaning of democracy. "The idea is not to toss up roadblocks, it's to make sure people who apply for citizenship and want to become citizens understand and adhere to the values we have as a society, the values that are part of the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights," said Shawn Saucier, spokesman for the Office of Citizenship and Immigration Services. The current exam doesn't guarantee knowledge of those values, Saucier said. A person may know which state was the 49th to be added to the union, for example, but not understand voting rights, he said. The portion of the citizenship exam used to test basic English reading and writing skills also will be changed to include civic vocabulary words, Saucier said. "We want them to study and look at this information not toward the eye of memorizing it for a trivia exam," he said. During the pilot, officials hope to work out any problems with the test and refine the exam. The revised test will be given to all applicants for naturalization beginning in 2008. Missouri State Univeristy in Springfield Mo has several sister schools in china the and they have a nursing program here, you might see if her school has a sister college or univeristy in USA. most are allowing or will allow transfer of credits. missouri also one of the few states that will have you send in her/his transcripts to a private firm and see if they are quailifed for teaching too that cost about 200 to 250 dollars to get her transcripts cerified. woried ----------- good job-------------- went part time as truckdriver 3 years ago when i start college went from 30,000 to 15,000 and now i also substitute teach so i cut back a little on driving. only thing different is i have student loan and grant enough to pay half my bills while paying for college. only i have 2 family member willing to do support form so not worried. my income will jump back up in 2 year after i get my degree, this May i will get my AA degree. And currently on a list for full time teacher Aid at 2 school so that will up my income in a few month if accepted. if not for college i be spending 2/3 my time driving the other 1/3 in viet nam but I want a stable family live for my family. not a husband on road 6 days a week.
