  2. This might because he/she has the same pronunciation in Chinese. Ëû/Ëý share the same pinyin as " ta".
  3. If you are a boss, do you want to hire someone without an interview? So no interview could be impossible. But I would like to have a suggestion that both the Chinese woman & her BF/Husband to show up at the interview! In this way, both the Beneficiary and Petitioner would have chances to say something so that the petitioner would not feel so helpless or disheartened with the result for the interview. Amanda
  4. Hi nandj, I doubt it was your 6 months that is the red flag and resulted in a Blue slip because Ling and I married only 7 months after knowing each other. I would say it was a combination of poor English and them not believing her son was not her's. What ever gave them that idea?? You need to put a timeline up in your signature file and enter your timeline. Others have gone through a blue slip in GUZ not believing a child is the mothers.Atleast you got a blue rather than white. Tom and Ling Tom, I agree with you. Nandj, I would like to know why the VO did not believe her son was hers? Amanda

  9. We do hope your wife will get her visa soon. It is difficult to wait but you have no choice. It will make your marriage stronger because both of you know how much it is hard to get. Best wishes for both of you. Amanda
  10. That is why I have never seen for GUZ to deny beneficiaries who speak good English or their major were English learning even though some of them had other cases weakness.
  11. I have applied for the permit and I will get in 15 working days.
  12. I have got my pink dress already. Thank you.
  13. If you look at the original date of the post you will see we're past 60 days. Guess i should have started a new post. As for my case(CR1+CR2), it was forwarded to GUZ on March 24th. On May 5th, it has been completed on customs. On May 22th,I got an email from GUZ saying the consulate has received the case. On June 4th through calling DOS, I knew my interview date(July 9th) and husband and I both got emails from GUZ to confirm the interview date. Please hang in there. You will get the great news soon. Amanda
  14. Thank you! I am thinking pink! Wishing and hoping for you also. Good luck! Thank you for your best wishes!
  15. i wish i could request to be seated in the cargo, that way i can isolate my self and be safe... The health officials came on my flight in Guangzhou, dressed in white suits, some on the flight were getting ready to take cell phone pics, and they shouted no photos or they will confiscate the cell phone.A small boy one row up from me,had a high tempature, they then took his temperture again with a regular thermometer, under the arm.The Mom said he still had a temperture, but i guess it has to be high enough to hold everyone in quarintine,my guess anyway. It was a miracle we got off the plane. Also, this proceedure took more than 1 hour, sitting on a plane, make sure you make connecting flights accordingly. many, many pissed off connecting flight travelers. Jimi You got lucky in Guangzhou but I guess if in Beijing, it would be much different.
  16. Can't wait to meet all of you in person in Florida! Amanda
  17. One day in a 5000 year + history, forgotten no, most important maybe not. tradegy yes. every country has them. not going to fight with you Roger, go look at Burma,Bhutan,Semalilia,Russia,Goegia,Iran, Rhodesia,Poland, USA,Cuda,Korea etc..etc. take you pick. China is doing ok, you must agree you have houses there right. dont see a smart man like you buying houses in a bad country. Yes, China is doing more than ok. I don't think Roger is trying to say China is bad. Speaking of a sad/unfortunate/bad event isn't saying that China as a whole is "bad". It is only pointing out this specific issue. Also it's not to compare China to other countries and say "Burma is worse, USA is better" etc. It just is what it is, and Roger's post was a quote from a Chinese blogger. Since that day, China has made a great progress. Yes, of course, China has its own problems but as long as it is changing into a better place I feel very confident about China's future. I was studying in an university as a student during that time. I saw with my eyes about the event. Amanda
  18. Thank you for your suggestion. I would like to choose a pink mop on July 9, ha ha ha
