  5. Hello, all I have been getting much help and understanding from CFL. I am so grateful for those who has answered my questions! My husband and I are getting ready for application for visa. I have done my son and my notarial certificates. But what we concern is this notary: NOTARIAL CERTIFICATE This is to certify that xxx(my name, female, born on month, date, year. ID card No:xxxxxxxxxxx) is the biological mother of xxx(my son's name). According to the "Civil Law of P.R. China" article 16, xxx(my name) is the legal guardian of minor xxx(my son's name). This is the notarial certifate that notary office offered me. But we are not sure if this is enough for application to show that I have right to let my son move to USA with me. My husband and I both want to hand in paper work without any errors even though preparation would take some time. please answer our question if you know this. Thanks again! My husband called me on my cell and I told him this situation this morning(USA time). He let me post our question because there are so many warm-hearted and kind people on CFL. I can't live without my husband and my husband and I can't live without friends from CFL. Amanda from China
  6. Hello xiaofeizhu, I remember you helped me by your kind words and your warm-hearted nature. My husband and I both like your posts very much. GOOK LUCK TO YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND! But maybe your title should be " WE HAVE GOOD SEX EVERY TIME!!!!!!" Ha ha ha... Amanda
  7. Best wish to you!!!!! We are waiting for the excellent result!!!!! Amanda
  8. I have just married in China, may 19th. I brought my divorce papers, went to the US embassey in Bejing to get the single affidavit. We then married in Harbin. I never needed to show my divorce papers, just the single affidavit and passport. Although I have read that requirements may vary by city. Best to cover all bases...best wishes. 9. I am sorry to hear your case. You have weathered the storm with courage and determination. I admire you. I wish the Best of luck, Tsap seui, in what ever you do. I am sure you will enjoy your stay in China. My case is not much different from yours. My application process and my AP has now taken almost TWO YEARS (complete two years in July). Mine was a normal application with no complications. I have submitted my official marriage certificate issued by the Chinese government and all the our pictures together. I can not believe the guts of the VO to say that "there is no evidence of a bona fide relationship". She refused to see my Instant messaging 3 times week for 1year and beyond, and Western Union receipts of my sending money to my wife every month, which would have proved right then and there that it is legit marriage! Is this VO blind or did she have a terrible fight with her husband the previous night? We should have an action committee in GZ to investigate all blue slips issued. But I think that we are all afraid that if we do anything, our wives wives could be for ever barred from entering the US. At one time I thought of picketting in front of USC, GZ holding a big sign "My innocent wife is prisoner of USC, GZ visa office incompetency, for the last 1 year and 11 months. Please release her immediately" These VOs sit in bullet proof booths. We can not sue them, we can not lodge a complaint against them and we can not even ask for an explanation. they are completely protected by the U.S. gov. Ken88 Hello tsap seui, Richard and I like reading your post very much. We also talk about your situation... we hope everything will be well for your SO, son and you! Does your SO live in north-east of China? I am living and working in Harbin. We are very sad to know the process of waiting for visa of your SO. But what we feel happy is your relationship has been getting stronger! Nothing or nobody will stop both of you unless either of you want to give up... Take care please. Tell your SO and son be happy because you truely love them... Amanda from Harbin, China
  10. I am going to file K3/4 when I get back to the states, are there forms my wife and her son could sign before I leave China that might help to start the visa process? Or any other suggestions. Richard & Jian
  11. I suppose if every question asked where run through this filter, perhaps there would be very few questions asked. Many topics have been covered, and as new people arrive and others move forward in the visa process new experiences happen to members all the time. I have been a member of other forums and I know it can be frustrating for long time members to see newbie's ask questions that have been asked before. This question was not about the step by step visa process, but about the real life experiences people have had for a given visa route, and why they believed this was the best choice for them. We (Amanda & I) see advantages and disadvantages to both K1 & K3, we are working through which will be best for us. The best route will be determined by our personal desires for ourselves and our family. Our decision will be based upon many factors, as I am sure everyone here did the same. The question Amanda asked was to seek real life experiences so maybe we would learn from these, and be better informed in our own decision. It is my opinion that this is what CFL is all about, maybe yours differs. Richard Hello, Darnell Even though the real life experiences can be seeked on the forums that had been existed before I posted, was it for Richard and me possible to post here and communicate with others about their reasons to choose ? The answer to the question was shown by so many people who answered so well that I did not imagine before I posted. I do get help from their replies! This is a fact that I posted a question and not only Richard amd I got help but also other people who want to work through visas as well. This is a free forum which people can give hands to and also can get help from. You never imagine who will post what kind of question or which answer will help you. Richard and I feel so happy and grateful for those who have answered my question. This proves what I did is right... Sincerely, Amanda from PRC

But I prefer to know more information especially other people's reasons why to choose the specific visa.Just like my BF,Richard said above,we want to seek real life experiences so that we will make the best decision for ourselves. We (Richard and I) feel so grateful to get many very good and real reasons and suggestions from others! We do not want to offend anyone. We just want to get help and will help others in the future. So CFL is alike a Big Family where brothers and sisters can help one aonther inside. The long waiting for getting visa can be miserable matter, but with the help from CFL can also be enjoyable experiences in life. I also feel so grateful to my SO.He is always at my side to support me. I love and trust him so much that nothing will stop us... Amanda from her mother land, China
