Could you tell me the date on your P4 letter which is in the upper right hand corner of your letter?

The following is a very preliminary updated list. I expect I will make some more changes in the next day or two as I am still calculating and getting settled.

 

Note: had to reassign longer dates for everyone because of my preliminary catching up on the last two weeks of postings has me thinking that the four holidays for May has things looking like there is an increase in wait times. I figured I should put this in because of the projected move of the consulate as well in June, so until I get more data, I am putting all times as matching the latest P4's. Sorry about that.

I will add some prelim charts soon, based on the current theory. I am hoping to post new charts based on P3/P4 letter dates, as soon as enough people give me more of these dates.

If the P3 date listed is not the one in the computer at GZ, let me know it if you want a more accurate prediction. If it is the date you sent the P3, I would add a week or two.

Color code for K1 and K3 sending P3 to Guz(Top color most accurate)

Red = P3 entered in Computer

Blue = P3 received at GUZ (Mail delivery of P3 papers)

Green = P3 sent to GUZ

Pink = P3 received from GUZ

Orange = P3 uncertain

Color code for K3/CR1/IR1 sending ds-230 to NVC(Still working on accuracy, need more data)

Brown = DS-230 Sent to NVC or Received

Purple = Case Complete at NVC

Gray = DS-230 At GUZ from NVC

 

Additional Note: Shifted time line guesses to a longer value to account for Guangzhou being closed May 2nd, 3rd, 4th and the 30th. It appears that this has been reflected in this past months P4's. This upcoming US Consulate move we no doubt can expect further delays. The next set of P4's hopefully will give us an indication of what is to come.

 

Anyone who would like my spread sheet, PM me your email address and I will send it to you. Lots of colorful confusing charts, plenty of time lines...over 180.

If you are K1/K3, and your color in not red, you should try to find out the date your P3 was entered into the computer, or tell me it needs correction.

It is very useful to have the reported P4 date be the date that is on the Interview letter itself on your time line as well as when you know or receive it. Also the date on your P3 letter. Both are in the upper right hand corner of the letter.

So far I have only three persons dates from their two letters (P3 and P4). There is a a clear sequence going on, that I think would allow for a better prediction capability for the list, if people would report these two dates. Especially for all those interviewed already since January 2005. I will work on this when I come back to show how this is. Would greatly appretiate anyone sending me these two dates, even for people who still show time lines for 2004.

Our P4 got to my hands on March 30, 2005. I went to the post office to get it!

 

It is REALLY a long waiting, but I got to know more and more that my husband is REALLY a nice and wonderful man to me during this hard time. He always encourages me during the frustrating waiting! I love him very very much!

 

I feel it is so good that we have CFL such a big family to get helped each other. I wish all those got blue paper could overcome their problems and get reunited with loved ones. Only us who have been experienced the horrible time for a visa can feel the pain for it...

NVOA 1 07/20/04 (I know, I know)

NVOA 3 10/19/04

Approved by NVC (who knows? they didnt send a letter) received a letter regarding approval only after a telephone request, dated 12/16/04)

Received P3 packet with a date of 12/08/2004

Sent materials to SO....received on 12/23/04

P3 sent to Embassy on 01/03/05

Waiting waiting waiting waiting

 

I dont even know what to tell my SO as a conservative estimate

 

I hope she can get over here while its still warm.....she'll freeze to death if she comes to New Hampshire after October

NVC registed the receipt of my P3 on April 15th and I am hoping my lao po gets her P4 next month from GZ. But NVC is supposed to approve the background first then send everything to GZ (customs, etc.) before they EMS her P4. Any kind of timeline for us?
