immigration fee

My LG has received the notice of CR1 immigration fee $ 335 one month ago, we has paid that. Now they increase the amount to $ 380, does that mean we dont have to pay the extra $45 or we have to pay otherwise we can get our DS-230 part I?

Send the check for $45 dollars, payable to mengxin and mail it to me. I'll make sure they get it. We have a saying here in CA. "If the cops didn't see it, we didn't do it."

 

I might be worried if they sent you a bill for $380 and you paid $335. If they sent you a bill for $335 and that's what you paid. I would think it would be safe to assume you are probably OK. ...But then again, crazier things have been known to happen.l

I know the new fee started from March. 5th, our notice is dated Feb. so it is good for $335, I think, hopefully. I will ask my LG how to spend the extra $45.

I called NVC and was told if the increase is to apply they will let you know in the p4 and it can be paid at the interview.
