BuffaloPaul
I was just in China for the Chinese New Year. Apparently, by wearing red underwear during the New Years celebration, I won't leave her a widow. Just in case, she has bought some expensive red underwear to wear at the wedding Link to comment

kfman
I was told that as long as you register the marriage before the year of the rooster, then your ok. I assume that means planning as well. But then, who really believes in superstition? I have fun trying to keep up with the cultural differences, and "play the game" so to speak, but never worry about superstitions.... thats superstitious to believe that way..... Link to comment
Feathers268
As long as the superstition goes in my favor I'll believe it. Otherwise it is silly. If I had any real concerns, it would be with older family members who take such things seriously. Fortunatly, so far this hasn't been an issue with Jennifer's family. By the way, my horoscope said last year that 2004 was the year marrage and commitment. I neither got married or commited. Link to comment
