I am sad to say this era is none of that.. dark, regression, destruction, fear,and untruth.

I never mentioned John Denver.

Mick Jagger has been performing for 40 years at a very high level. Even Sinatra had a bad day.

Jagger is number one and everyone else is looking up.

I'm guilty of mentioning John Denver but I liked a few of his tunes, just a few.

 

As far as Mick Jagger: I remember some comedian on TV one time said, "Have you ever noticed how Mick Jagger looks like Barney Fife?"........

Funny as hell because I had thought the same thing!............

Tony Bennet... I just saw the guy on "The Apprentice" singing at that polo match. The voice not so bad for an old guy.. but the sparkle, the swing and the... presence still there. And from the response from the people there still got it..

 

This is a total package, an entertainer and a survivor.. hmm wonder if he will dust off the American Song book and... ooops!!! he wrote the f*** song book!! Nice try wannabes..

Speaking of old guys, how about the world's oldest rock and roller, the one and only Mick Jagger. The greatest performer in our lifetime, with due respect to Tony Bennett.

Here we go again. Led Zepellen - Stairway to Heaven is the all time greatest. I did listen to Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd today. Sounded great.
