Bigzoo Going away???

I was just browsing today.

 

I saw a note that Bigzoo is supposed to go away at the end of the month:

 

Important Message:

BigZoo.com (Prepaid Calling Service) Phasing Out of Service

 

BigZoo Prepaid Calling Service will end on January 31st, 2005 at 11:59 PM (Pacific Standard Time).  

 

I didn't see an explanation of why.

I used BigZoo for several months. I personally feel pretty good about them shutting down, because it was just the kick in the pants I needed to finally try someone else. I was growing very tired of the horrible sound quality.

I use Packet 8 dot com as my home phone service. It goes through your internet. I pay .03 per minute to call China. The sound quality is not perfect, but it is pretty decent. They also offer a flat rate of $50 per month, which gives you unlimited long distance calling for all of USA and Asia. Either way it is a pretty good deal. I hope that helps.

We have used Nobelcom.com at 4 cents per minute and the quality is excellent.

Onesuite.com offers you an ability to print your history, which is so important to us... and its cheap also. I have never had sound quality problems, but sometimes a busy signal ....
