Randy W
Nathan revisits his conspiracy theory here in an interesting video, but it's a VERY big leap from a 1.4% of 7,389 unique blood donations taken Dec.1 to Jan. 17 showing SARS-COV-2 anti-bodies to his claim of 4.7 million cases in the United States by Dec. 1. Randy W
I just came across an old (Sept. 2017) post about Amy Lyons on the "Those Chinese Videos" thread, right about when she first started posting on YouTube as "BlondieinChina". She didn't show up on my radar as a YouTuber until two years after that - http://candleforlove.com/forums/topic/48071-serpentza-and-other-vloggers/page/18/?tab=comments#comment-641671 The Daily Mail article about her is at https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-4869376/Amy-Lyons-Wang-Hong-China-market.html My first post about her (before I knew who she was) is at http://candleforlove.com/forums/topic/49227-those-chinese-videos/?do=findComment&comment=634760 Edited February 28, 2021 by Randy W (see edit history)
Randy W
A good one from Chinese vlogger Fragrant Mandarin 香橘子. Quote Chinese minority group, the Naxi people, have always made the area around Jade Dragon Mountain in Lijiang their home. They are one of 26 different Chinese minorities in Yunnan. Baisha is special in that it remains dominantly the Naxi minority group and work has been done to keep Naxi culture alive within the village. We visited Baisha on our trip to Yunnan in 2012, a trip I posted about here - Some Pictures from Kunming and Lijiang. Randy W
The boys really need a new life, or at least a new career. They said this by way of introducing their new video ("Our Response to the Pro-CCP YouTuber Shills") on Facebook: Quote While we get constantly attacked from Pro-CCP shill YouTubers, we've never attacked back, and we won't. However, we have an explanation that will help you understand their motivations, and end goals. Here's our message. I was scheduled to stay for a 6 week business trip, but the Chinese border closed a few days after I arrived and the Covid cases in the US blew up. My company and I decided the best coarse of action was for me to stay in China because no one else was going to be able to enter for a very long time. My extended business trip has turned into quite an adventure and cultural immersion. Besides working on product development projects and operations issues for my company, I’ve made some new friends in China and have seen (and photographed) some amazing sights. I published two photography books and have begun working on a third. I’ve traveled to some new places in China (pandemic-free) and have adopted a whole village near my house. My collection of vintage film cameras grew larger than I had planned and I created a film processing lab in my AirBnB apartment. I think most people on the planet will label the last year as “unforgettable”, but I’ll be using that term for different reasons. I’ve spent a year making lemonade out of lemons. I fly home in 60 days. Randy W
CGTN is using this video from Daniel Dumbrill (at least 5 minutes or more from it) on their Global Watch segment. I know I wouldn't care to step into that minefield. Edited March 30, 2021 by Randy W (see edit history)
Randy W
Daniel Dumbrill goes full-blown shill in a nearly 30 minute segment. Seems like he's in this WAY over his pay grade. I think all he can do here is to stir up the pot. Edited April 2, 2021 by Randy W (see edit history)

And I do think China does some things better than the west. But I never understood Dumbrill's vitriol for the west especially the US, though admittedly I haven't watched his videos for maybe 6 months now. His face nearly glows and his eyes twinkle when he says that "China will soon overtake the US" (whatever that means). I just peeked at his Twitter and it's literally 90% anti-America stuff. And going on TV and sticking yourself into the middle of the Xinjiang situation - come on, how reckless is that nowadays? With a business in China and kids that are Chinese nationals? He's been in China long enough to know it's best to keep a low profile and stay out of politics. Randy W
One of their better (in their recent incarnation) ones, especially about Xinjiang, although they go off the rails MANY times throughout this 2 hr. podcast. I have to agree that the "YouTuber shills" should stay out of that International political and diplomatic minefield. At 34:20, they talk about the YouTuber shills and discuss the "cultural genocide", but they also claim that Xinjiang was not a region of Muslim terrorism. But then they do talk about some of the terrorism that has been experienced in China. Edit to add: Interesting that Winston still thinks it was "horrible" and "immoral" for the YouTubers to "deceive" (they didn't) their viewers about who they vegetable danced for, but now thinks it's okay that Matt (Jayoe) is working for CGTN and Xinhua. Randy W
A RICH SOCIALIST SUCCESSFUL village in CHINA | livestream A good one from Matt JaYoe Nation at a tourist town in Shanxi, but very long at 1 hour 19 min (a live stream). But the first 10 or 20 minutes will give you the flavor of it. He transmitted live stream while on a break from filming with Xinhua. He is acting as a village elder for the show. Randy W
More than a little over the top for C-milk here, but it's hard to disagree with what he's saying. I noticed he left Matt Jayoe out pf the little montage here. Maybe that means they're content with the little talk that Winston had with him. As far as I'm concerned, the YouTubers should avoid implying that there is NO forced labor in Xinjiang - that is an International political and diplomatic minefield that they are stepping into. A screen capture from loawhy86 video The NEW White Monkey Jobs in China What a group of losers. I agree @Randy W . What's worse is that they are going on government-sponsored trips and definitively claiming the "camps" in Xinjiang don't exists. They are literally taking money from the government to say this. What an awful, awful decision. Maybe the camps don't exist, were made up by the west - and then these guys will got brownie points and pats on the back. If it turns out they do exist, how is that going to look for these guys? Why put yourself on the record? And now I just saw Gweilo put out a video that Laowhy86 is in danger of being extradited to China the second he sets foot into a country that has an extradition agreement with China LMAO. I didn't know that a repo-man was so well-versed in international relations (not). He continues to inflame the whole pro-China/anti-China youtuber wars with these stupid, uninformed videos. And 99% of the comments are along the lines of "gweilo u r real chinese u know ur stuff ur so smart"...
