Broadband Phone Service Suggestions

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for a new phone service that connects via a Broadband cable connection.

Anybody here using the italkbb China plan or something comparable?

Thanks!

Here are some links I saw on 001, hope they are useful

We are using I-talkbb and love it. Free long distance calls through 60 countries.

This includes to and from China. It helps keep my wife's parents in touch with family.

We use I-talkbb also, for 4 years now, and I think it works well, and cost is reasonable.

If you reference c4 or some italkbb member, the member gets some credit.

Thank You for your replies!

Can the I-talk BB users please post the details of the service plan they have?

Feichang Gan Xie

just go to http://www.italkbb.com/bb/enu/enu_index.asp and on the menu bar you will see plans.

Pick "China Plans"

Within that there are 2 plans, global, or economy, and you can pick whichever makes sense for your usage.

I always but the Global plan, and pay a year at a time because it gives me free cell usage, though I seldom use it these days.

+1 on this

My wife uses her cell phone quite a bit and burns up the home lines between here and China. And Mum being able to call us when she needs to is priceless.

If you're wanting to go the broadband route, I've had great success with Skype's subscription service
