search for "xray" for more results. Probably unneeded, however it seems that some officers at POE have requested it. Also there have been accounts of it being reviewed during the AOS process.

Lol what the hell is the POE goign to do with it? Are the Immigration officers trained to read X-rays?

Pertaining to the x-rays obtained during the k/cr/ir process, yes, I'm sure they're trained on what to look for. Review the second link posted above.

 

The x-ray is necessary if someone decides to check for evidence of TB

Note: The X-ray and immigrations packet needs to be in your carry-on bag, not in your checked bags.

As many have said, the x-ray may not be asked for. At our POE, HNL, they just took the brown folder. Still have the x-ray in our closet as a "souviner"...or sometimes as a beating stick since I have no mop and it's in that tube thing :lol:
