seeker2k
I am in the same boat, my SO is moving at the end of this month. My petition left oct 7th but the consulate says they dont have it yet. So i faxed my girls new address to them(yesterday). I will let you know what action GUZ will take. Im going to inquire about it tommorow. well, still nothing for me, even though i provided them everything they asked for and then some. also, i will be in Guangzhou next week, i can stop by there in person, with people this ignorant apathetic and unwilling to help, i dont think that will do any good. even if we both stand there in front of them with 5-10 IDs, birth certificates, proofs of residence and whatnot they will still "be unable to verify". at least that's the feeling i am getting from all this. ChrisA
Once you have the NVC letter and the GUZ#, send an email to GUZ with the address change, they have to notify you that they have received your email. This email will go into your case file. Link to comment

This email will go into your case file. how long does it take to receive this letter ? I obtained my GUZ# directly by calling NVC, not because i received a letter. also that was October 6th. it is now Nov 3rd. Is this normal wait time for this sort of letter ? I sent another fax, signed dated, etc. with GUZ#, USCIS#, DOBs, and all other info, but I have never received any reply or confirmation from them about the fax. Only thing I have is a confimation from the fax machine taht it has been sent successfully. Link to comment
ChrisA
Sent GUZ the email, you will get a response. As for the letter is long over-due, call the NVC and ask for another one, state that you haven't first the letter and it's been over a month. Link to comment
