I would avoid that particular brand/item/company. It is made in Zhejiang province. Much better quality manufacturers of scooters from Chongqing and Guangdong at basically just as reasonable prices.

 

No offense to anyone from Zhejiang province but they are just not as advanced technologically in these products as the 2 other regions mentioned.

You should check your local/state laws; I know you need a license to operate these in NY, NJ & PA, possibly quite a few other places as well.

Depends on state, in NY State if it is a motor vehicle it needs to be registered and licensed, they fall into "Moped" and all require a driver's license and if it can exceed 30 Mph, requires a motor cycle license.
