Shadowman
I have been using http://www.pingo.com. Also 1.8¢ per minute (with a local access number), 2.8¢ if you use the 800 number. You can also access your call history through the website and print them out for your files.

You two guys should get together, and refer each other to your plans. Then you each use the other plan for 1 month, and you each make 10$ of calling time for free. That lowers your cost per minute even more

Guest Wuhan4me
RobertH - I try to stick to plans that give a call detail record collection, in case some VO will ask for on Interview Day (May I see the phone call logs please? ) - so if your plan has some online portal for viewing and retrieving the call detail records - it'll be great !!! NewDay2006
I have ItalkBB at home. My son and wife can call china anytime they want for $27 a month. When my wife was still in China I used http://www.ecallchina.com/ ... for less than 2 cents a minute we talked. I would usually pay $20 every 2 months and we could talk every morning on my ride to work for about 30 minutes. It has detailed records avaiable, speed dialing and an 800 number if needed. Out of the 4 or 5 phone card companies I tried I had the very best luck with ecallchina.com Pinless, speed dial and no service fee options were the best I found. Not to mention detailed phone records. I used the phone records at the interview in GUZ. Very nice to have this feature back when I needed them. Not so important now though. Meiji Huaren
Wow, these all sound like good options, especially the one from "Free Planet." If you are one of those who need your conversations logged, Google Voice offers this service (as well as recording voice conversations). I believe the rate is 2 cents/min to China.
