And Yes 10 days before is a good idea, gives you time to:

  • Pay visa fee at CTIC bank
  • Do medical
  • Perhaps ACH to ask a few questions

dnoblett is absolutely correct and 10 days is a good set aside.

also don't forget to use ACS for some notarization's. I found that Documents that I had notarized ,,were not asked for like the I-134 and an updated Letter of Evolution of Reationship...just a reminder.

And Congratulations on the next step.... :D :D

Note, I-134 no longer needs to be notarized if you use the one published on USCIS.gov since earlier this year.

I believe consulate notary service is by appointment. SEE: http://guangzhou.usembassy-china.org.cn/no...ces_260608.html

you and phbryant!!!

I am a little sparking here!!! 5/07/09 my wife said she got the Packet 3.

We have an NVC out for the K3 of 4/14, but I thought that getting the CR1 is worth waiting for. So I asked her to sit on it. Now I wait in Customs for the CR1.

:smartass:

Regardless, I will sit on the dock and wave you bon voyage!
