chinadave2001
I coach the local high school team so I dragged Sarah to a game but she was far more interested in the cheerleaders, dance teams and the band.... Dave Link to comment

tparrent
There's no hope. Ling keeps calling it the "very rude sport only Americans play" and asking how many people die while playing every year. Being in Chicago I had to ask her if she meant players or fans! Link to comment
Guest blsqueaky
My Wife Ling wears a Michigan Jacket, and I am from Columbus, OH, and she is now learing the game. I have also been asked that her brother-in-law would love a Michigan Jacket for Xmas. I just love it, thanks to John Cooper, I will never root for the OSU Buckeyes. Link to comment

Mick
The small town where we live is interesting. Although the population is less than 1200, that's right, 1200, within its city limits are two states and four counties. Half the town is in Tennessee and half in Alabama. Each state has two counties that border within the city itself. This makes for intersting rivalries, especially in football. You can imagine what happens in the High School confrontations. The whole town turns out. As for as college goes, the annual Tennesse/Alabama game is a big event around here. As far as the pros go, Tennessee side roots for the Titans, of course, while the Alabama side supports the Falcons. Autumn is an intersting time around here. B) Link to comment
