LET THE COUNTDOWN BEGIN!

Well, just wanted to let everyone here know that tomorrow,

11-27-07, my sweetheart leaves Harbin for GZ. She has secured a room at Mr. Yangs for us, and I will be leaving Detroit on Saturday,

December 1st. She seems to be in such good spirits and so in control!

It amazes me. I am frantic, trying to finish all those final details at home, and worrying about the interview, and how we will get home.......and on, and on. She said "dont worry baby, I will do everything well." Dont you just love the positive attitude these ladies have? So between the two of us, I think we have all we need for the interview. Her interview is on Tuesday 12-4-07. I will arrive there on Sunday night 12-2-07, so we will have Monday to go over everything one last time. I just wanted to post this today, because I dont know if I will have time again this week! I will be sure to let everyone know

the results as soon as I can get behind a computer. Thank you everyone here, for all your help and support during our K1 Visa journey.

I couldnt have made it through all the ups and downs without you all!

Sounds like you've both got all your little pink ducks in a row. :bounce8:

 

Good luck Ron, I hope you do not have trouble with Li Ping's name, but if you do, push your way back up to the consulate to get her fingerprints taken and than a few days latter you should get it approved. Common names some times have issues. Again good luck and i hope everything works well.

We are wishing you the best. You have done very well with choosing Mr. Yang's apartments for your stay. He was very encouraging and helpful. He met us at the front door of the consulate building, escorted us our apartment and also the hospital the next day. This will help relieve you of some of your stress.

I am glad Ping is composed as I thought my SO was also until the morning of the interview when she told me she did not sleep one bit that night worrying of the questions she may be asked. This was amazing to me as she can sleep standing up at the drop of a hat.

Hold your head high as you depart. You will do well. Try not to worry too much. Consider yourself lucky to find CFL and all who have helped you here. Without this site and the educated members here we would never have been able to do what we have done...achieved the coveted "PINK."
