Does anybody has any good news lately? EMS, Interview ect.. It seems like GZ has come to a complete stop. Let's post some good news as to cheer those On Hold cases up including myself. I've just talked to my fiancee and she said she's very bored sitting and waiting for our clearance. She said she wanted a job. I told her to hold that thought at least for a little while until SARS quiet down a little bit. Any advise?

Some gal on 001 is guess that US government is planning sort of withdrawl fm Guangzhou due to SARS situation. Since no one is scheduled an interview after May 12th. It would be a scarry thing!

Looking at your timeline Dave and your P3 and name check is exactly the same as mine. I hope the withdrawnal rumor is not true. We have enough worries trying to get the name check cleared without GZ shutting down on us.

Well, it's a crazy world now and withdrawl is not a rumor but a wild guess by some Shanghai gals. Only time can tell....

My wife is scheduled for an interview on May 13. I hope a reduced staff will

be more efficient and process everything in a rapid manner. I suspect there

is some interference by political appointments that is the cause of our

problems. When they leave town things could be better.
