Cerberus
Nice interview Bobby. I was laughing at you analogy of the kitchen sink. Yin did the same at her interview, as your wife did. In the end they wanted so very little and really only looked at one or two papers. I still remember almost 1.5 years ago, that Yin was pissed because the VO didn't really care to look at her photographs, she brought with her. VO may have looked on his PC and realized that Yin had a ugly husband. Can't blame him. Who wants to look at an ugly person? LOL Dave Link to comment

I tried putting in all zero's and it wouldn't take it at work. So guess have to wait until she gets here. I am not sure if CR1 is considered an immigrant but k1 is not considered immigrant and SO only fills out page 1 of the immigrant visa form. Page 2 contains the application for SS number which they can apply while overseas so they will get the number as soon as arrive in U.S. Anyway congradulations and hope to meet you folks here if I am still in Houston.Byron Link to comment
C4Racer
Congrats Bobby. Yeah, the kitchen sink approach is always best. As you hear about each interview they only want one or two things, but that always seems to vary. Seems to be based on each case seperately, so it is always better to be prepared for whatever they might want. Bring everything and think pink. Also, nice post. Great info for those still waiting. From looking at your timeline, this process only took you less than one year... did you go k3? Sir Charles Thanks bro for your warm thoughts and wishesNo Sir I only filed for CR1... about 15 days away from being a yearI dont care how you look at it, Darn thats still one yeargood luck my man with your Visa!!God knows you need a little luck Sir Charlesmay Gods speed be with youThis goes to prove first in, is not first out! For all you other folks out there in CFL wonder landread Davids FAQ, there is a world of info and this man haswork his butt off to make things go smoothly for others.Yea maybe some of David words and answers, etc are not sosimple and easy to read and understand.... like for us slower TexicansLOL but if I can do it anybody canMy advice is when it comes time go and see the Wizard in GZ, bringthe kitchen sink. If you have thought about it, bring it..The Wizard could ask for that document...and having it in the states willnot help at this moment in your life. Good luck to each and everyone of youGod Bless and have a safe and wonderful Chirstmas. Maybe 2007 bring youmuch happiness Bobby/Emmathanks again to the complete cast and crew of CFL and to a few others no matter how off the wall them may seem to act. Link to comment
sleepless in Houston&CQ
Hey, Bob, how did your wife remember all the questions so clearly? I have asked my SO to remember the questions so that I can share them here, but I imagine it will all be a blur by the time she gets out. AFF Man my wife has a memory better than your PC!!! She never forgets anythingJust ask her she can tell you the time and place and word for word every timeI screwed up and did something wrong. No for real she was cool at the interview, her being a bussiness woman she works well under pressure. And me being here help. Link to comment
