I-129F NOA2

Hello all.

Today i was just reading my approval of my K3 I-129F

And i noticed that they left out one letter of my SO name!!!

Great!!!!

So i checked my copys of the I-129F i sent in and i have everything spelled right.

The mistake is on there part.

Now i do know that my I-129F was received at NVC on 12/05/2006 one week ago.

So I'm not even sure if it is still there or not.

 

Is this going to be a problem????

What should i do now???????

How do i fix this and where do i fix this?????

 

Now my STRESS level has just gone up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It may still be at the NVC... I would give them a call to see if it is still there. [NVC: 1-603-334-0700, Options 1,1,1 for CIS # or Options 1,1,2 for NVC Case # if known.] If it is still there, maybe they can change it now. If not, you can easily have it changed once it gets to GUZ. Either way, you'll want to change it as soon as you can. Good luck!

Try this thread at http://candleforlove.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=14417. It may be applicable. I personally wouldn't worry this much. Check your copies of the other paperwork you sent and insure all information is correct. If not; the phone number is in the link I gave you.

 

To me, it seems like a typo on a clerk's part on the NOA2.

You do want to fix this sooner than later. If the namecheck gets initiated on a wrong name, then it will probably have to be run again if fixed after that.

 

Since NVC does a name check, best to get a hold of them... but can you tell if NOA1 was wrong too? You'll get a notice from NVC.. check that once you get it.. check P3 when it comes.. at every step, check it.

Yes, David. I did call NVC today! They said it was just a typo error.

They have my SO name spelled correctly.

UPDATE: K3 still in name check. 8 days now
