Hello all.I invite any and all advice/knowledge.For starters,I'm an American and my fiance' is Chinese.I filed 7-20-05,and since,everything is in China now(all paper work).She is waiting to recieve packet 3 now.We are both very anxious.Seems a very slow process.

very slow. Your wait time on the p3 doesnt sound out of the ordinary though. Bank on a year, and be happy if it is less

Welcome to CFL. You're getting close to the end. One thing you might want to do is to determine when GZ physically received your files from the NVC, when the consulate entered the data into the computers, and if the P3 has been mailed. This will help you determine approximately when to start looking for the P3 (using historical timelines). To me this was important because it alerted me to the fact that the P3 was actually mailed to Jingwen but never delivered.

 

And, yes, it is a sloooooooooow process. Good luck.

Some of us are still waiting our NOA2, so you're doing better than some. It's a freeze, move maybe, freeze, wait process.....

I agree with the slowness being common.I guess my anxiety is a result of reading and hearing many "horror"stories of Guangzhou and the chaos that sometimes prevails........"they want documentation of my father's death 15 years ago?".........and the like.

cheetos and pagtience my man. I was just informed that my P-3 was sent out. I started last January....that's like 11 months ago!

 

I am looking into stock in Frito-Lay.

Welcome aboard. You are well on your way, and Frank is right. If you can find out when GZ recieved the papers, it can be helpful in knowing when to expect the p3. In the mean time, find he forms online so you can be ready. The sooner your SO returns it, the better you both will be. Best of luck.

I am in the last step, just awaiting the interview date to be schduled. I think this is the worst part of it now. She passed her name checks in October. ARGHHHH!
