Shower head filter

After consistant nagging about getting a shower head filter that is supposed to be healthy for the skin, I finally bought one last night for my wife. My wife is too conscience about keeping her skin young. Her older sister told her about the shower head filter. Sometimes I wish they don't talk as much. I hope the shower head filter is not a waste of money. Does anyone here have one at his house?

Never heard of them. Maybe you could have just slipped in one of those water saving restrictor and told her it was a special US style.

Another great option is a whole house filter. I started using one a few years back and it works out great. The water tastes better and it helps with the laundry not taking as great a toll on the clothes.

Another consideration might be, unlike China we can drink our water from the tap.... granted this is starting to be a thing of the past.

Look at the bright side Tony...if this thing works, you wife will look younger and younger. And if it works for her, you can climb under it yourself.

This might be a good thing to carry with you where you will encounter hard water.

It probably won't be a waste of money. I would bet that the water in your area has a whole lot of chlorine. I should probably buy the one for the kitchen sink because we use that water for bathing our grandchild and he has sensitive skin.

You need to find out if the local water municipality uses chlorine or chloramine. A standard chlorine shower filter will leave the ammonia component of the chloramine in the water. Chloramine will kill aquarium fish and cannot be removed by standing or boiling like chlorine can.
