According to your timeline, my SO and I are overdue for some news. I recently emailed GZ, and they basically said to wait...so is it best that I contact DOS now??

2004/08/12 __ Received NOA1

2004/12/15 __ found out lawyer sent papers to wrong place and resent papers

2004/12/30 __ Received second NOA1

2005/03/21 __ NOA2 for both noa1

2005/04/11 __ Cleared NVC on way to GZ

2005/06/07 __ Received P3

2005/06/07 __ sent p3

2005/09/24 __ Received p4

2005/10/11 __ Interview

2005/04/24 __ went to china second time for 2 weeks

2005/06/20 __ called and she told me she is pregent

The projection for my wife's interview is November. I will start calling the DOS on Wednesday (09/28/05) and continue to call each day through the first week of October and hope for an interview date !!! Good luck to everyone else in the same situation. Please let me if anyone has success !!!

Mark I am doing the same. Although I call everyday. Also when I call, DOS states it was sent 27 May so usually 5-6 months from this time. We are expecting something soon also (if their projections are correct).

October 27 is 5 months- we feel we should hear somthing at the very least by this time. (see our timeline- although GUZ received in July- DOS states its from the time sent, the clearance is done and now just waiting....

5/11/2005 I-130 complete per NVC and sent to GUZ

7/18/2005 Case entered in GUZ computer

8/11/2005 Case completed per the GUZ pay-for-information-service

 

Just an FYI...

The GUZ information service operator told me that due to the backlog, expect that the interview will most likely be in 4-6 months from the 8/11/2005 date.

Called DOS this morning about 11:00AM : IVR stated the office was closed, please call 8:30AM to 5:00PM, Monday thru Friday. What !!!!!!!!!!

 

Called DOS this afternoon: Someone must of corrected the call routing !!! On hold for about ten minutes, then talked to a visa specialist.

 

My wife's interview is scheduled for 11/21/05 !!!

 

Good luck to all the other members that are close. Call the DOS everyday for the next week and hope for those magic words.
