Just came from the great and powerful GUZ with (light) purple in hand.   :o I was disappointed at the sight (or lack of) of the Embassy. The Chinese guards kept moving me back step by step. I finally saw Old Glory through a break in the trees. I did take some pics I will post when I get back to SZ.

6:35am arrived (pouring down rain, maybe 20 in line)

6:50 SO went in. They was called up by name, gave envelope from hospital, asked a few questions like "have you ever left the country", and then given a number.

10:30 told to come back at 1:00

12:05 arrived (sunshine with 6 in line)

1:00 went in

1:10 she was first one called. Window 7. VO was handsome white guy with blond hair. She said "good afternoon". He said "excuse me, I'll be right back".

VO asks how we met

she says "on internet"

VO asks for her passport

VO asks how many times I came to China (she told him 3 times and I was outside waiting. She gives him my passport which he looks through)

VO asks when I divorced

she tells him about 11 years ago but she doesn't kow the date

VO asks for pictures

and thumbs through a stack of maybe 12

VO says ok you passed. she was out before 2:00.

Doesn't look at any of the paperwork I spent days preparing. I-134, tax forms, bank letters, NUTHIN. I know........better safe than sorry.

We take the slip to China Post just around the corner from the Blenz. (saw alot of purple there)

Thanks to EVERYONE for the help through the last 9 months.

Good luck to everyone "On Deck".

And special thanks to Donahso........I love Lucy's!!!
